2. Spock's parents were both different species. What were they?

Answer: Vulcan and Human

Spock's mother was a Human and his father was a Vulcan. Although Spock was half Human, he rarely ever showed his Human side.
3. What is Captain Kirk's nickname for Doctor McCoy?

Answer: Bones

Captain Kirk called McCoy "Bones", a shorter reference to "Old Sawbones".
4. What is Captain Kirk's brother's name?

Answer: George Samuel Kirk

Eugene Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry, created "Star Trek". It lasted from 1966 to 1969. He was born August 19, 1921 in El Paso, Texas. He died on October 24, 1991 at the age of 70, in Santa Monica, California.
10. How many years did "Star Trek" air on T.V.?

Answer: Three

"Star Trek" was going to be cut short at the second season but many fans didn't feel like they should end it yet and bombarded NBC with letters asking to let it go on for one more year. NBC let it go on, but ended it after the 3rd season. Years afterward "Star Trek: The Next Generation" aired and "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" was made.
