Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who told Jimmy in the "Mijo" episode that, "I like ripping off thieves 'cause they can't go to the cops. They have no recourse"?

Answer: Nacho

Jimmy had told Tuco and Nacho about the $1.6 million that Craig Kettleman had embezzled from the county when he and the skateboarders were being threatened in the desert. Nacho later showed up at Jimmy's sad little office in the back of the salon to propose a finder's fee for Jimmy if Jimmy could tell him where Kettleman was keeping the money. Nacho had decided that he wanted to steal the money; he just needed to know where it was.
2. In the "Nacho" episode, who asked Jimmy, "You didn't do the sex robot voice, did you?"

Answer: Kim

Jimmy had called the Kettlemans to warn them that they might be in danger since he knew that Nacho wanted to go after their money. He at first tried to disguise his voice using a paper towel tube, but they couldn't understand him, so he ended up quickly warning them in his own voice.

After the Kettlemans disappeared, he confessed to Kim, telling her what he had done, and she immediately asked him the above question, to which he answered yes.
3. Who told Jimmy in the "Hero" episode that, "You're the kind of lawyer guilty people hire"?

Answer: Betsy Kettleman

After the Kettlemans disappeared and Nacho was being held as a suspect, Jimmy suspected the Kettlemans of staging their own kidnapping and went searching in the wilderness behind their home. When he found them, a tug-of-war over a gym bag resulted in the stolen money bursting out of the bag. Betsy offered him a bribe to keep quiet about the money, which he told her he couldn't accept but that he could accept the money as a retainer for being their lawyer. That's when Betsy broke the news to him that they needed a more respectable attorney.
4. In the "Hero" episode, who claimed that, "I feel like I'm in the mirror routine with Groucho Marx, like we should be standing, waving our arms at each other"?

Answer: Howard

Jimmy was trying, unsuccessfully, to get a cease and desist order dismissed. Howard had issued the order after seeing Jimmy's billboard, which featured a picture of Jimmy in a lookalike Howard Hamlin suit and a logo that was a copy of the Hamlin Hamlin & McGill logo. Jimmy argued that there were only so many fonts available, to which Howard replied, "We've been using this particular font for twelve years now, and it, in concert with our trirectangle graphic and Hamlindigo blue, constitutes a trademark brand identifier". Jimmy was aghast that Howard had trademarked a color - "Yikes!", he said. "Yikes. From the man dressed EXACTLY like me," responded Howard.

He then made the Groucho Marx remark to the judge.
5. What said, "Give it to me, Chandler, I want it all! Ooh! Aah!" in the "Alpine Shepherd Boy" episode?

Answer: A toilet

The talking toilet was the invention of Roland Jaycocks, a would-be client of Jimmy's. Jaycocks intended for the toilet to be used as positive reinforcement for toilet training children; he claimed that his son, Chandler, really liked it. But Jimmy thought the phrases sounded a bit sexual, which offended Jaycocks who apparently didn't see this at all.

He ended up sending Jimmy away, calling him disgusting, to which Jimmy responded, "Hey buddy, you're the one with the sex toilet".
6. At the end of the "Five-O" episode, who said, "You know what happened. The question is, can you live with it?"

Answer: Mike

Mike had a heart-wrenching talk with his daughter-in-law, Stacey, about how his police-officer son, Matty, died. He told her that Matty's partner had offered to split a bribe that he'd received from a gang with him. Matty wanted to turn his partner in, but Mike talked him out of it.

He told Matty that he took money himself, which according to Mike, "broke my boy". Mike said that Matty's partner and sergeant killed him because they didn't trust him, even though he had taken the money like Mike told him. Stacey had thought that Matty was killed by the same people who killed his partner and sergeant, so after Mike told her that they killed Matty, she asked him who killed them. Mike admitted it was him with the above quote.
7. In the "Bingo" episode, who said, "He's just got to learn, that's all. Some rocks you don't turn over"?

Answer: Detective Sanders

Sanders was one of the two detectives who had come from Philadelphia to interview Mike regarding the murders of two policemen. Both detectives appeared to believe that Mike was involved in the murders, with the younger detective, Abbasi, aggressively pursuing Mike. Sanders was an old friend of Mike's, and he told Mike that a lot of people thought that the policemen got what was coming to them: "that whole precinct was a sewer".

He said that new blood, like Abbasi, in the precinct was a good thing and then made the above quote about Abbasi.
8. In the "Pimento" episode, who offered the advice, "I've known good criminals and bad cops. Bad priests, honorable thieves. You can be on one side of the law or the other. But if you make a deal with somebody, you keep your word"?

Answer: Mike

Mike had just guided newbie prescription drug dealer, Pryce, through his first drug deal, and when Mike referred to Pryce as a criminal, Pryce claimed that he wasn't "a bad guy". Then Mike explained that he was a criminal because he'd taken something that wasn't his and it was up to him whether he was a good or bad criminal. Mike also recommended that "if you're going to be a criminal, do your homework" when Pryce asked him how he knew he didn't need to bring a gun to the drug deal.
9. Who delivered the brutal comment, "Slippin' Jimmy with a law degree is like a chimp with a machine gun", in the "Pimento" episode?

Answer: Chuck

After being confronted by Jimmy about the deleted phone call to Howard, Chuck's mild persona dropped and he unleashed a diatribe at Jimmy, explaining why he didn't consider Jimmy to be "a real lawyer". Chuck ranted that Jimmy's correspondence course degree from the University of American Samoa was a joke and that Jimmy wasn't his equal because Chuck had worked to get where he was.

When a crushed Jimmy said, "I thought you were proud of me", Chuck responded that he was, as long as Jimmy was in the mail room. Chuck tried to rationalize with Jimmy that people could get hurt if the law was misused, hence his "chimp with a machine gun" quote, and that he believed that "deep down", Jimmy knew he was right.
10. Who told Jimmy in the "Marco" episode that, "With all due respect, you're a lawyer. If you're not making bank, you're doing it wrong"?

Answer: Marco

After a week of reliving his Slippin' Jimmy days with Marco in Cicero, Jimmy told Marco that he needed to get back to Albuquerque to help his clients. Marco was surprised to hear that he was a lawyer but was even more surprised that he wasn't "king of the desert, driving around town in a white Cadillac". Jimmy said he was making a living but that's all, to which Marco responded with the above quote. Were those words in Jimmy's head when he walked away from the potential position with the Santa Fe law firm? Marco also had a great quote in the flashback sequence at the beginning of the episode when Jimmy told him he was giving up his conman ways: "It's like watching Miles Davis give up the trumpet".
