Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What did Susan send Carter's grandmother?

Answer: Flowers

At the beginning of this episode Susan and Carter were seen discussing the lilies she sent his grandmother. Unfortunately for Susan, Carter's grandmother claimed to be "allergic to lilies", prompting Susan to say that she could not seem to "get into her good graces". Carter then replied that his grandmother probably didn't appreciate "the symbolism", as lilies were for funerals. In light of the fact that she had knocked a girl down while driving, this certainly seemed to make sense.
2. What was Luka trying to persuade Kerry to do in this episode?

Answer: Give Nicole her job back

Luka begged Kerry Weaver to talk to Human Resources about getting Nicole's job back, arguing that she deserved "a second chance". Claiming that she "made a mistake", Luka assured Kerry that Nicole's stealing would not happen again, but Kerry stated firmly that the hospital had a "zero-tolerance policy against stealing".
3. What sport were the two boys brought into the ER at the beginning of this episode participating in?

Answer: Boxing

Jorge and his little brother, Rudy, were brought to the hospital after being injured while boxing. Although Jorge "didn't mean to hurt him", Rudy suffered a head injury during practice. Despite this, the boys' father seemed unconcerned, appearing proud of the fact that Jorge was "one tough kid".
4. Nicole told Luka that she intended to have an abortion.

Answer: False

Before Nicole left the hospital, Abby told her that she should tell Luka if she had lied about her pregnancy, because he would figure out the truth in the end. Surprisingly, Nicole took her advice and confessed to Luka that she was not pregnant. Admitting that she had "felt safe for the first time in a long" while, Nicole informed him that she had lied because she did not want to lose him.
5. Who did Kerry Weaver ask out on a date?

Answer: Sandy Lopez

Having invited Sandy Lopez into the hospital to check her burns, Kerry took the plunge and asked her out on a date. Clearly a little nervous, Kerry asked Sandy if she wanted to do something, like "lunch or a movie, or ice fishing". Responding with "like go out?", Sandy then accepted Kerry's invitation.
6. Why was Peter Benton in court during this episode?

Answer: In order to gain custody of the child he perceived to be his son

Peter Benton was in court in order to challenge Carla's husband, Roger's attempts to gain sole custody of Reece. However in this episode, Roger put on a very convincing performance, and claimed that he had taken "a variety of steps to" ensure that he was a good parent to Reece. Having "learned to sign", kept "in contact with his teachers", and volunteered at Reece's school, Roger certainly seemed to have the upper hand. Moreover Roger's self-employment and flexible hours seemed to cast Peter in a bad light, as he often needed help due to his demanding job.
7. Who did Susan Lewis kiss in this episode?

Answer: John Carter

After flirting for a while, Susan and Carter finally kissed in this episode. While up on the roof of the hospital, the pair chatted and drank coffee, before finally puckering up, bringing an end to the tension created by several episodes of beating around the bush.
8. Cleo Finch was also shown in court during this episode.

Answer: True

During this episode, Cleo Finch was shown in court supporting her boyfriend, Peter Benton. Whilst on the stand she told the court that Peter was "completely devoted to Reece", and had "always focused on" what was "best for him." However things started to fall apart when Cleo was questioned about a prior accident involving a piano, which had resulted in Reece hurting his fingers.
9. Which of the following was working in the ER when they discovered that their child was outside in the back of a police car?

Answer: Mark Greene

While Mark was working on a boy brought into the hospital by the police, he found out that his daughter, Rachel was being held by the police. As Mark approached the entrance of the ER, he saw Rachel sitting in the back of a police car, peering out at him. She had not been arrested, for as a police officer explained, in cases like hers, they preferred "to scare them a little" by taking them down to the police station and calling their parents.
10. "Who's in charge here? I ordered liver an hour ago and haven't seen my waitress since." Where was Robert Romano when he said this?

Answer: In the Operating Room

Robert Romano said this to Peter Benton in the Operating Room, after a donor patient continued to breathe on her own. Frustrated at the wait for the donor liver, Romano showed no regard for the donor's distraught husband. Instead he waltzed out of the O.R, after telling Peter, "Page me when she goes".
