Answer: The Big Bang Theory

This is first "Big Bang" Christmas episode, titled "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis", from season two. Penny mentions that she has some Christmas gifts for Sheldon and Leonard, and this dismays Sheldon. He doesn't like the fact that he is now obligated to get something of equal value for Penny.

When at the store looking at gift baskets of bath and body items, he decides to buy several and then decide which one to give Penny when he sees what she has gotten for him. What Penny has for Sheldon is a napkin signed by Leonard Nimoy, that Nimoy also wiped his mouth with.

Sheldon is overjoyed, and gives Penny all the gift baskets and also a hug.

This is the fourth season Christmas episode, "Somewhere in the World It's Christmas". The Walsh family is heading to Hawaii for a vacation, while Dylan is planning to go surfing in Mexico for the holiday. Instead, he is surprised at home by a woman claiming that her daughter was fathered by Dylan's dad (thought to be dead at this time).

Meanwhile, most of the rest of the gang are preparing to help feed the homeless for Christmas at the Peach Pit, and since there is a problem with the Walshes' plane, they arrive at the Peach Pit at the end too. There, David breaks up with Donna, on her birthday which is also Christmas Day, because she doesn't want to have sex and that apparently isn't working for him any more.

Answer: Downton Abbey

This is the first Christmas special, "Christmas at Downton", which first aired on Christmas Day 2011, following season two of "Downton Abbey". Season two ended in April 1919, with Bates being arrested for the murder of his estranged wife, Vera. In the Christmas special, Bates is tried and convicted, and eventually sentenced to life in prison, much to the dismay of his new wife Anna.

Meanwhile, Mary is engaged to Richard Carlisle but not very happy with him - he is blackmailing her into marrying him with the threat of publishing a story that will ruin her reputation. Mary dumps him anyway and at the end of the special, gets engaged to Matthew. Youngest sister Sybil, who had left Downton to go to Ireland to be with Tom Branson, former employee at Downton, reveals in this special, via a letter to the family, that she and Tom have indeed married and she is pregnant.

Answer: Everybody Loves Raymond

This is a third season episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond", titled "The Toaster". Ray purchases toasters for several family members and friends and has them engraved with a message - "Merry Christmas. We love you. Michael, Geoffrey, Ally, Debra and Ray".

Ray's brother Robert and Debra's parents both love their toasters. Ray goes to his parents' house the day after Christmas to see if they liked theirs and instead finds out that they exchanged it for a coffeemaker. He expresses his disappointment, leading Frank and Marie to go back to Bloomingdale's to try to get the toaster back. Another lady has it and is trying to get the store to fix the engraving, because she thinks it should have the names of her son and his family. Marie overhears and tries to wrestle the toaster away from the other lady. In the end, Ray and Debra get a call from Bloomingdale's, saying that Frank and Marie have been involved in a disturbance and "possible theft of a toaster". Ray realizes then that they do care about his feelings.

Answer: Home Improvement

In season one's Christmas episode, "Yule Better Watch Out", Tim competes with Doc Johnson in the annual Christmas decoration contest. Jill mentions that Doc Johnson wins every year. In true Tim fashion, he has an accident while decorating - gets a hammer frozen to his tongue, and firemen have to come and get him down from the roof. In the end, his decorations are lovely - until the circuit overloads and sparks, and all the lights go out.

Mark writes his letter to Santa. His brothers Brad and Randy tell him that there is no Santa Claus, and then later that there was a Santa Claus, but he died. Tim and Jill decide to tell Mark the truth about Santa, but just before they can, Wilson shows up at the door dressed as Santa, with a gift for Mark.

Answer: Saved by the Bell

Season three of "Saved by the Bell" includes this two-part episode, "Home for Christmas (Part 1 and 2)". Laura works at a clothing store with Kelly, and meets Zack and the rest of the gang through her. Zack becomes interested in Laura, and learns that she and her father are homeless. Laura and her father get invited to the Morris house and Zack helps Laura when she is accused of stealing from the store she works at.

Meanwhile, the mall is putting on a production of "A Christmas Carol" and the gang all have parts to play. Zack's mom is in charge of the play.

Answer: The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

This is "'Twas the Night Before Christening" from season four of "Fresh Prince". Baby Nicky is a recent addition to the family and needs to be christened; the ceremony is to take place on Christmas Eve. Two of Vivian's sisters both want to be godmother; Geoffrey is chosen as the godfather.

Most members of the family have gotten nice gifts for Nicky, and Will doesn't have one. He blurts out that having Boyz II Men appear would be his gift. Will then has to try to make this plan come true. He steals Carlton's Santa suit, of which Carlton is very possessive, and sneaks into the band's recording studio. In the end, Boyz II Men, appearing as themselves, do attend Nicky's Christmas Even christening and perform a song.

Answer: Full House

This is season six's "A Very Tanner Christmas". Michelle and Stephanie are obsessed with receiving gifts for Christmas, and Jesse takes them to a homeless shelter to show them how nice giving at Christmas is. Meanwhile, oldest sister D.J. is going through a crisis with her boyfriend Steve - he's been accepted at a college out of state and they'll be separated.

Becky tells Jesse how much she misses the white Christmases in Nebraska, her home state. Jesse plans a wonderful surprise for her - he has a friend who makes snow cones, and borrows his snow to cover the back yard.

Answer: Malcolm in the Middle

This is "Christmas", a third season episode. Malcolm, Reese and Dewey misbehave every Christmas (all the time, really). This year, when Lois catches them destroying Christmas ornaments, she takes all the Christmas stuff from the house and locks it in the garage, "holding Christmas hostage". This does get the boys to behave, until they become afraid that Lois will do this every year.

Meanwhile, Francis has been ordered by Lois to go visit his grandmother. She's not exactly a warm and fuzzy grandmother, and Francis has a terrible time.

Answer: King of Queens

This is "Ovary Action" from season four. Carrie and Doug see a fertility specialist, who finds that Carrie only has one functioning ovary, and it will be more difficult for them to conceive. They have a three day window to get the job done but Doug's parents arrive in town that day. Their presence causes problems for Doug and Carrie, including because they give up their bed for their guests, and they get dragged to Lou DiMaria's (friend of the family) grandkid's Christmas concert.

Doug's father, Joe, discovers that Holly, a dog walker, is paid to take Arthur on walks. He makes fun of Arthur for this, but ends up joining him and Holly on a walk. Arthur is jealous that Holly pays attention to Joe, after already getting jealous that Doug and Carrie got some special things for Joe and Janet's visit, including a cheese tray, that they never get for him because he lives there all the time.
