5. What is the name of the computer geek behind the Searchlight program?

Answer: Joseph Cheng

Cheng is a Silicon Valley game designer. He made a fortune off an Internet game called "Dozer Duel." Ironically, the team was able to use Cheng's own program against him and turn him into an international fugitive.

Searchlight is not simply a facial recognition program, it can predict behavior as well. The program is a major threat to privacy, allowing dictators to hunt dissidents or mobsters to track down people in witness protection.

Breanne got trapped inside the computer room at the police station and the geek triggered the fire suppression system, showing he was willing to play for keeps. Fortunately, Harry was able to rescue Breanne using a taser.

Lawrence Kao played Cheng. He has been acting since 2009, and his credits include "The Originals" (2015-16) and "Wu Assassins" (2019).

Trevor Chan is the designer of "Seven Kingdoms" and several other games. Tim Cain designed Fallout. And Mark Cerny designed Knack.
6. What did the computer geek freak out over at the coffee shop?

Answer: coconut oil in his coffee

For some strange reason, the barista had put coconut oil in his coffee, which caused Cheng to blow a gasket. The freak out establishes that Cheng is a pretty major control freak.

They manage to use his control freak personality against him by disrupting his schedule, causing him to blow a meeting with his major financial backers.
7. What is the name of the computer interface at Joseph's house?

Answer: Alayna

Cheng lives inside a super smart house that even tracks his vital signs to monitor his health. He refers to the computer interface as Alay-Na.

Breanne determines that the best way to defeat Cheng is to use his own computer system against, by changing his biometric signatures so much the House will not recognize him. Amazingly, Parker actually manages to mimic Cheng's biometric patterns and hack into Alay-na.

By the end of the episode, the team manages to steal Cheng's smart house, including Alay-na. She should come in handy in future episodes. Chelsea Bryan was the voice of Alay-na.

HAL from "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) is probably the most famous computer interface of all time. KITT was the talking car on "Knight Rider." Holly was the computer on "Red Dwarf."
8. What is Sophie's alias as a "social interaction consultant"?

Answer: Oona Reynolds

Cheng is so socially awkward that Buddy, his financial backer, actually hires a "social interaction consultant" to try and train him how to relate to other people.

Sophie plays Oona, and Parker is her assistant Tanner (not sure whether it's her first or last name). They visit Cheng at his home and proceed to mess him up big time.

Clive, Shaw and Peltz are all aliases that Sophie has used during various cons.
9. At the end of "The Double Edged Sword Job" Sophie was amazed that Breanna had stolen tons of what?

Answer: Maple Syrup

Breana provided the team with a list of jobs she had been involved in. Parker was impressed by at least one of them. In the end, the team said they would stop comparing her with her brother because she was good on her own. Sophie mentioned the maple syrup as the last line. Apparently it involved a hacking contest.
