Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The team's client was a hardworking nurse whose community clinic was being forced to close because their mark, Daniel Fowler, had stolen all of their money. When Nate went to discuss the job with Kay, the nurse, Sophie was elsewhere and he was forced to take a different member of the crew with him. Who did Nate take?

Answer: Parker

It was later revealed that Sophie wasn't there because she was meeting with her boyfriend, who then broke up with her. Parker was a nightmare in the meeting as she lacked both empathy and sympathy, in fact, she was actually quite humorously rude as well.
2. Hardison noticed that Fowler had withdrawn considerable funds just prior to having been arrested and the team deduced that he was probably hiding the money somewhere in his apartment. Since Fowler was under house arrest by the FBI, they needed to come up with a way for the judge in his upcoming trial to sign a form allowing him to leave the apartment. The judge would only grant permission under three different circumstances. Which of the following was NOT one of the circumstances?

Answer: personal grooming and shopping

While Eliot and Parker suggested they burn the apartment building down or potentially kill one of Fowler's relatives, Nate decided that the best way was by creating a scholastic triumph for Fowler's stepson; in order to ensure that the event was worthy of granting a day pass the team decided that they first had to steal the school.
3. What was the name of Daniel Fowler's stepson?

Answer: Widmark

Eliot constantly complained about all the children's strange names at the Dalton Academy, to which Hardison simply said it was because they were rich people. Skyler was frequently shown to be the student whose name and attitude truly seemed to bother Eliot the most.
4. In order to steal the school they had to get the existing dean of students to leave his position as quickly as possible. Hardison was sent in as Ananzo Buhari, the special envoy to a foreign president, who was seeking the dean's guidance in rebuilding the educational infrastructure of his country. What continent was Hardison from?

Answer: Africa

To be specific, Hardison said he worked for President Khama of Botswana, who is in fact the current president of the country. He told the dean that the president was very impressed with his graduate school thesis on the foundations of exemplary educational systems, and the dean was more than willing to go to Botswana after he saw the volume of work awaiting him at the school, and after he was offered a free ticket.
5. This episode included the reappearance of the two FBI agents from previous episodes. What were the names of these agents?

Answer: Taggert and McSweeten

These agents appeared in "The Bank Shot Job" and "The Wedding Job" in season 1 of the show. When Parker and Hardison were installing their own surveillance outside of Fowler's apartment they saw a hitman waiting nearby and were able to disarm him, but this lead to them being noticed by the two agents. Fortunately both Parker and Hardison had posed as undercover FBI agents and had a pre-existing relationship with Taggert and McSweeten, so their cover wasn't blown after all.
6. While Nate posed as the interim dean of students, he relied on two others members of the team to be teachers at the school and it was their job to go into Fowler's son's classes and find something they could use to get Fowler out of his apartment. These two teachers were referred to as the kid's fairy godparents, which members of the team were they?

Answer: Sophie and Eliot

Nate explained to the parents that the children needed to be instructed in matters of both mind and body. Eliot was installed as Coach Bruwer, the gym teacher, and Sophie was Ms. Donovan, a comprehensive academics teacher.
7. Since one of the FBI agents was very keen on Parker he was determined to be wherever she was, which meant that she would not be able to break into Fowler's apartment after they left for the school. Instead she went with the agents to the school and a different member of the team was left to break in. Who broke into Fowler's apartment?

Answer: Hardison

Hardison asked Parker to talk him through the break-in via the earbuds, but she was unable to break away from McSweeten long enough to do so. Instead, Parker spoke to McSweeten about personal relationships in a code language designed to instruct Hardison on which wires to cut and where he could find them.
8. Everyone struggled to find something that Fowler's son excelled at and his fairy godparents tried many different avenues within the school as a test of his abilities and/or interests. Which of the following did they end up using?

Answer: musical science fair

Eliot discovered very quickly that Widmark was not an athlete, but Sophie thought she could rig a spelling bee by giving easy words to Widmark and extremely difficult words to all other students that came up against him. Unfortunately Judy Kim, a fellow classmate, was a highly skilled speller capable of spelling every word she was given, including: flibbertigibbet, anti-disestablishmentarianism, and chylocaulous. Once they found out that Widmark could sing quite well, she turned the science fair into a musical performance and the plan began to take shape.
9. When Parker and Hardison were installing a motion detector in the hallway outside of Fowler's apartment they encountered a hired hitman heading towards Fowler's apartment, following the FBI agents headed in that direction. They later saw the same hitman at the school. Was this hitman sent to kill their mark, Daniel Fowler?

Answer: No

Originally the team thought that the hitman was there to kill Fowler, since he appeared right outside of Fowler's apartment the first time they saw him. When the hitman reappeared at Widmark's school they realized that Fowler (with help) had arranged to have his FBI handlers (Tagget and McSweeten) killed so that he could evade custody and flee the country.
10. After Hardison realized that Fowler's stolen cash was not in his apartment the team scrambled to figure out exactly what was going on and realized that Fowler had to be planning on escaping. At one point Fowler's camera bag was swapped with another person's bag, which lead the team to realize that Fowler had an accomplice. Who was his accomplice?

Answer: Mark Sanford

Originally everyone thought that Fowler had pulled off the con all by himself, but they realized at the musical science fair performance that Skyler's father, Mark Sanford, was in cahoots with Fowler. Sanford traded bags with Fowler in the auditorium and the team found out that he had provided Fowler with a new identity and a plane ticket to South America in exchange for Fowler's tapes of his incriminating phone conversations with Sanford.

The team was able to make this piece of information public to the entire auditorium before handing both of the men over to the FBI.
