Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The vice president of Lillian Foods, Erik Casten, tried to cover up the fact that a large portion of the company's frozen foods were not safe for human consumption. What was wrong with some of the frozen foods?

Answer: salmonella contamination

Dr. Jameson attempted to copy the quality control reports that proved the food was contaminated with salmonella but Mr. Casten and Markland, the head of security, stopped her and confiscated her flash drive before she could leave. It was Dr. Jameson that contracted the team to steal the evidence and expose the fact that Casten knew of the contamination and decided it was more financially viable to pay for a few wrongful death lawsuits than to pull the contaminated food off of the shelves.
2. When Eliot's cover was blown doing recon at Lillian Foods he was able to physically fight his way out; Parker's cover was also blown when it was revealed that the "homeless man" on the bench next to her was, in fact, another member of the company's security. How did Parker evade capture?

Answer: jumped over the bridge railing

The undercover security guard attempted to grab Parker but she was able to kick him away and do a backflip over the bridge railing; the man didn't see or hear a water splash and was left confused, but the audience was able to see that Parker was dangling underneath the bridge, having grabbed onto a beam.
3. What corporate event did the team use to infiltrate the company and steal the incriminating evidence?

Answer: state of the company meeting

Hardison was only able to hack into the company's computers and retrieve emails, which was when he found out that a lot of the staff was frustrated about having to attend the state of the company meeting. Since no one on the crew, besides Nate, had never had a real job, he had to explain to everyone exactly what the meeting would be about.
4. The team wasn't able to get into the company by posing as caterers so they had to get in as a replacement act for the corporate entertainment, a magician. What was the name of the magician that the team had to get out of the way so they could steal his gig?

Answer: Chronos the Magnificent

Chronos was an ominous and gothic-looking magician. Hardison discovered that he had multiple sexual harassment charges filed against him and Parker noticed that his assistant obviously hated working with him. When Parker volunteered to go onstage, Hardison used that opportunity to do his own magic act; Chronos punched him in the face out and was arrested, which enabled the team to pose as a last minute replacement act.
5. When the team came in as the magical entertainment, one member of the team was forced to hide in the "Box o' Mystery." Who was it?

Answer: Eliot

Nate made a fuss with security when they wanted to inspect all of the magic gear and equipment. The head of the company allowed them access and you later saw that Eliot was hiding in the box and holding a rabbit the entire time.
6. When Erik Casten shortened his speech so he could delete the incriminating documents, Parker, Eliot, and Hardison were in the elevator on their way to steal the files. Nate told Parker that she had to immediately get to the stage. She jumped down the elevator shaft and told Eliot to hook her harness cable to something so that she wouldn't just continue to fall. What did Eliot hook the cable to?

Answer: Hardison's belt loops

Eliot hooked the harness cable to his Hardison's belt loops, just to see what would happen. When Parker reached the bottom of the elevator shaft the boards beneath her gave out and she crashed through the shaft before being shown dangling above the stage.

When she fell through, Hardison's body was launched up in the air and was stuck to the top of the ceiling until she released the ropes and he fell to the ground.
7. Whose RFID security card, fingerprints, and retinas did the team use in order to access the rooms holding the computer files?

Answer: William Taylor Price

They needed someone with high level security to gain access to the file rooms. Sophie stole his RFID security card's pass code by holding her phone to it, which allowed Hardison to pick up the frequency on his phone. They stole his fingerprints during a magic trick onstage with Nate and Parker and they used the Box o' Mystery to lock him up and transport him to where his retinas could be scanned.
8. What did Erik Casten and Markland find when they confiscated and looked at Hardison's disk drive in the junction room?

Answer: magic tricks

When they busted into the room they demanded Hardison's drive, Erik looked on the computer he saw the magical formula for the interlocking rings magic trick.
9. Although their magic act included several traditional tricks, Nate repeatedly said that the entire magic show was really all about one key piece of the act. What part of the act was so important?

Answer: the rabbit

Even though the overall con was all about misdirection, the magic act was truly all about the rabbit. When they arrived Eliot gave the rabbit to Parker, who gave it to Hardison, who put it in the magic top hat before it magically disappeared. The team had to spread out and find the rabbit, but you did see it again when Nate and Parker use it for their disappearing final magic trick onstage.
10. The team was unable to copy the quality control documents that proved Erik knew of the food contamination and did nothing. However, the team chose instead to copy other information that was even more important than those documents. What did they steal?

Answer: food patents

Hardison realized too late that Erik Casten had deleted all of the incriminating documents. Since the first plan failed, Nate told Haridson to copy all of the food patents, which were more valuable overall anyway. Once the team got Erik and Hardison out of the building, Parker stole Erik's phone, which was where Hardison had stored the files.

They managed to effectively set up Casten to be both fired and disgraced for his cover-up, which he was.
