Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. An all-time classic, one of the most famous murder tools in horror movies, Freddy's melee weapon of choice here is as iconic as it is deadly. What is it?

Answer: Clawed Glove

When using Freddy and chasing or carrying a Survivor, he will periodically wiggle the fingers on the Clawed Glove to create a relatively quiet scratching sound, as if taunting their incoming demise at his hands.
2. Freddy's power, the appropriately named Dream Demon, does an absolute motherlode of things. The first order of business when trying to take advantage of them is to try and get Survivors into the Dream World. Simply attacking them with a basic attack is one way to do it. What is another way?

Answer: They will be passively brought to the Dream World

From the moment the game starts, Survivors will see their respective character icons encapsulated by a clock. Once that clock has completed a single rotation, they will be put into the Dream World. Assuming no add-ons are in play, they can be woken up by failing a Skill Check, by being hooked, or by having an awake ally perform the Wake Up action on them.
3. One of the numerous things Freddy's power lets him do is set what are called Dream Snares. What do they do when Survivors interact with them?

Answer: Slow Survivors down and make them scream

Dream Snares are fairly similar to The Clown's Afterpiece Tonic and can similarly help Freddy secure hits and downs in chases. He can use them whenever he wants at no real penalty, setting a maximum of five across the map. If the player goes to set a sixth, the oldest Dream Snare will be removed as a result.
4. Dream Projection is something Freddy's power lets him do. It lets him move across the map very quickly to maintain pressure on Survivors. Where will it let him teleport?

Answer: Generators

This aspect of his power pairs beautifully with the Thrilling Tremors and Pop Goes The Weasel perks, as well as other Generator monitoring perks such as Tinkerer, Discordance and Surveillance. It enables Freddy to pinpoint which Generators Survivors are working on, so he can immediately arrive, chase them off, and negate the progress that they've made.

It does have a moderate cooldown, but this cooldown is reduced by 15% for every Survivor in the Dream World.
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. Freddy's first perk in that regard, acquired at level 30, makes any Killer using it gain a small, stackable Action Speed bonus for every Generator the Survivors manage to complete. What is it?

Answer: Fire Up

For every Generator completed, picking up and dropping Survivors, breaking objects, vaulting windows, damaging generators and hooking Survivors becomes slightly stronger. This can help a Killer who is in a deficit potentially make a comeback.
6. A good pick for Endgame builds, this level 35 Freddy perk can make it take longer for non-Obsession Survivors to open the exit gates for each time the Killer using it hits the Obsession. What is it?

Answer: Remember Me

The several-second penalty Remember Me applies can be the difference between Survivors who escape and the Killer being able to interrupt and kill a Survivor who would've otherwise gotten away. It unfortunately has negative synergy with other Obsession-based perks with more general utility, such as Save The Best For Last, but it is nevertheless a good pick for a Killer utilizing an Endgame build.
7. This perk, a level 40 Freddy perk, is largely responsible for Survivors universally adopting a tactic known as "99ing the gate". If an exit gate is open and a Survivor gets hooked, this perk will prevent Survivors from escaping through the exit gates for a considerable amount of time. What is it?

Answer: Blood Warden

This perk's use cases are relatively narrow, but if a Killer does manage to get value out of it, the value ends up being pretty extreme and can result in an otherwise lost game becoming an outright win. Unfortunately, the aforementioned strategy of "99ing the gate" can easily foil this strategy.

However, if the Killer is facing a group of Survivors who are not all in voice chat with one another, poor coordination could result in a Survivor errantly opening the exit gates at a bad time, and a Killer with this perk is in position to take advantage.
8. This add-on, an iridescent, enables Freddy to begin the game with all Survivors already in the Dream World. It also removes one of their methods of waking themselves up. What is it?

Answer: Red Paint Brush

When combined with Nancy's Dress, this begins the Survivors in an immediately disadvantageous state as they will have relatively large action speed penalties applied to them right from the get go. Failed Skill Checks will no longer wake them up, and because everyone is asleep, they cannot wake each other up. Thus, the only two ways to wake up at that point would be to locate a far away Alarm Clock or to get hooked, neither of which are ideal.
9. This iridescent add-on will prevent Survivors in the Dream World from leaving through the exit gates for a short period of time. What is it?

Answer: Black Box

It functions as a mini-Blood Warden to some degree, without requiring anyone be hooked to activate. It works for 1/4th the time of Blood Warden though, making it even more situational and tricky to get value out of.
10. Most Killers in the game move at 115% the base speed juxtaposed to Survivors. Is Freddy a 115% movement speed Killer?

Answer: Yes

Combined with his on-demand Dream Snares, Freddy can run down Survivors very easily and make loops short and unsafe. He is good at winning chases as a result.
