2. What Lucasarts computer game introduced the SCUMM engine?

Answer: 'Maniac Mansion'

I've forgotten what the acronym stands for, but the last two letters do stand for 'Maniac Mansion'.
3. What Sierra adventure game was the first to feature animated characters?

Answer: 'King's Quest I'

'Mystery House' and 'The Dark Crystal' were text-based with graphics, but no animation. 'King's Quest V' introduced Sierra's icon interface.
4. Which of these games does not feature a female protagonist?

Answer: 'King's Quest III'

Laverne of 'Tentacle' is female, Rosella and Valanice of 'KQ7' are female, and Laura Bow is the lead in 'Bequest'. Prince Alexander is the protagonist of 'KQ3'.
