The Sequel Police are servants of Sludge Vohaul, and have been given orders to kill Roger if they see him. They nearly kill him in the introduction but a mystery man saves Roger's life. They will kill him on the streets of Xenon if he dallies too long there. They will kill him if they spot him near their timepads or the entrance to the supercomputer. They will kill him if he dallies too long on Estros. And Roger will have a fun time evading them at the mall. Strangely, after Roger eludes them at the mall, he will never see them again even though he has to return to the places where he saw them. Humorously, one of them chases Roger even as he's being captured by a large bird of prey. This does not end well for that particular policeman!

The other choices are enemies that appear in other "Space Quest" games.

4. The Latex Babes of Estros nearly shave off Roger's legs. Then a creature scares them off, saving Roger from that fate but then putting him in danger of being eaten. What is this creature?

Answer: Sea Slug

The Latex Babes transported Roger through a body of water to their torture place. They sealed him to a chair and nearly shaved his legs off when a hungry Estronian sea slug rose up above water and scared him off. This creature removed the chains that bound Roger to the chair, but then it grabbed Roger and nearly ate him. Roger put an explosive device in its mouth and killed the creature.

After this, the Latex Babes decided not to torture him after all. Instead, they escort him to the mall. Once they get to the mall they run off and leave Roger. Strangely, one of them leaves her ATM card behind.

Roger needs to go to the Software store to get the in-game "Space Quest IV" hint book. This hint book gives Roger some of the coordinates to Ulence Flats and it has the code for the supercomputer. The Women's Clothing Store and Hz. So Good are for an optional task. You get points for doing this optional task but you can beat the game without doing. If Roger goes down the escalator at all, the Sequel Police will catch him and shoot him.

6. What do the monochrome boys hate about Roger?

Roger travels back in time to the original Space Quest one, not the remake. Therefore once he gets there, the whole place is in EGA and only Roger is in VGA. The monochrome boys taunt him over this and then throw him out of the bar. Roger gets revenge by knocking over their scooters, but then they exit the board and then roam wherever they please on the scooters. If one of them encounters Roger again while on the scooter, Roger must jump out of the way at the last second to avoid death.

The monochrome boys don't know that Roger destroyed the slot machine, and he has not yet stolen the matchbox.

Answer: Space Quest 2: Vohaul's Revenge

Roger travels back to Ulence Flats in "Space Quest 1" to get a matchbox. If in the time pad he hits the first 6 symbols in order from left to right and top to bottom, he will travel back to Ortega in "Space Quest 3" to the point shortly after Roger blew up the force field generator.

Unfortunately, for some reason Roger no longer has his ThermoWeave Underwear so if he leaves the time pad he will die. Hence, this is just an Easter egg. Roger can return to the mall in "Space Quest 10" if the player writes down the coordinates. Roger cannot travel back to "Space Quest 2" at all.

8. What file on the Xenon Supercomputer had the Vohaul virus?

Answer: Leisure Suit Larry 4

Roger learns at the beginning of the game that a file called "Leisure Suit Larry 4" was installed on the Xenon supercomputer. This file had a virus, that turned the computer into a force of evil. The computer captured most of the people on Xenon and either killed them or turned them into zombies. Roger's son was able to escape, and he went back in time to bring back the one man who had defeated Vohaul in the past (Roger). Roger deleted the "Leisure Suit Larry 4" file and then defeated Vohaul and saved Xenon again.

"King's Quest 43" does not have the virus. However, deleting that file frees up a lot of memory frees up a LOT of memory for the computer. "Space Quest IV" does not have the virus and deleting causes the game to exit out. Deleting the brain triggers the endgame sequence and puts the rest of the game on a timer.

9. At the end of the game, Roger finds that Vohaul has gotten his consciousness into Roger Jr.'s body and put Roger Jr.'s consciousness onto a floppy disk. Vohaul then throws the disc away. Roger's final task of the game is to upload Roger Jr.'s consciousness into Roger Jr.'s body. However, Roger better be careful here. If Roger first selects Beam Upload and then Beam Download, Vohaul will escape. Then he will roam the universe disguised as Roger Jr. and the universe will be doomed. As long as Roger selects Disk Upload first, all will be well.
