"Super Smash Bros." (N64) - Basics Quiz

There is no move where Jigglypuff heals herself or boosts to the stage. Her Down-B special move can knock enemies off the stage though (you need to stand 'in' them before doing it). Jigglypuff's Up-B move lets her sing and enemies standing nearby will fall asleep.

The Baseball Bat's Smash-A attack is really powerful. A hit with this weapon blows any enemy off the stage, as long as there's no obstacle in the way. It takes long to strike, though. A Bob-Omb won't really kill you if you have 0% damage, and neither do the other two items.

This is essential to know at Link's target test, as you need to throw a bomb very high up to hit a certain target. The B-Button just throws the item like the A-Button and the Z-Button just activates the shield while you still have the item in your hand (except you're having a crate or barrel). Holding A doesn't help much either.

You do a Roll by holding Z, then press Left or Right. The character will roll to that side. Air Dodging, Throwing heavy items straight upwards and catching items in the air is not possible in the N64 version.

Yes, it's possible. Just go lower than 1 minute, then the 'Unlimited' symbol will appear. In Stock Match it's not possible to go over 99 or lower than 1. For Multiplayer games there is no mode other than Time and Stock (including team battles) - a pity!

The hammer is one of the most powerful items in the game if you don't misuse it. When you pick it up, you swing it back and forth like an insane person, and you'll only be able to jump once. You cannot throw the hammer away. The only way to get rid of it is either wait until the effect wears off, lose a life or get a hard blow by an enemy.
