The Seven Sleepers of Ephesus is a tale told in Christian folklore as well as in the Qur'an. During the persecutions by the Roman Emperor Decius, seven men were told to recant their faith. The 1950 FIFA World Cup victory was an upset that few people expected. Known as the Maracanazo, the final game between Uruguay and Brazil was a shocking loss for Brazil who was expected to beat Uruguay by pretty much everyone. Nevertheless, Uruguay managed to win 2-1.

The Brazilians were so confident that Brazil would win that days prior to the match, many Brazilian newspapers started printing articles about Brazil's victory. Along with this, an entire victory song was composed to be played after the final that would praise Brazil's victory.

The Houthis, a people that follow the Zaidi form of Shia Islam, essentially orchestrated a coup d'etat led by their leader Abdul-Malik al Houthi overthrew the government led by then president Abrdabbuh Mansur Hadi. Hadi would later escape and declare Houthi illegitimate.

Over time, as the two groups fight on in Yemen, ISIS and Al-Qaeda have set up outposts in the country. Currently, Hadi's government has the support of the most international recognition with troops from other areas in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia supporting his cause. The disease that comes with it, known as Zika Fever, is not deadly and has no reported deaths attributed to it. The main concern with Zika comes in the form of women, specifically pregnant women, who can get infected through sexual transmission or mosquitoes. Zika has been linked to microcephaly among other conditions which show up in babies born from pregnant women as the disease is transmitted from mother to fetus.
