1. Cordoba, Granada and Seville are all cities located in the Andalusia region of which European country?

Answer: Spain

These cities are all located in Spain's southernmost region Andalusia. Seville is the capital of the region and is famous for its Alcazar fortress, as well as its Gothic Cathedral where Christopher Columbus is buried. Granada is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and is where the Alhambra palace and gardens can be found. Cordoba is home to the Mezquita, which is now a Catholic cathedral although it was previously a mosque and prior to that a Visigoth church.

Answer: Greenland

In addition to Greenland, the Arctic is made up of the Arctic Ocean and parts of Canada, Russia, the USA, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland.

Greenland, while not a sovereign nation, is a country. It is an autonomous Danish territory.

New York had been the most populous state since 1810. The exact year in which California usurped that title remains a matter of some debate; California declared a state holiday in 1962 to celebrate the occasion, but the Census Bureau's figures indicate that California didn't take the lead until 1964.

Siwi is located in the Kouka Department, and is one of the multiple towns that can be found in the Banwa Province of Burkina Faso. On August 4, 1984, President Thomas Sankara renamed the Republic of Upper Volta as Burkina Faso, exactly a year after he took power through a coup.

The name, which comes from the Volta River, was originally used for the French self-governed community of the place.
