Answer: NHL Rivals

"NHL Rivals" was made by Microsoft and was exclusive to XBOX and was started in 2004. Unfortunately, it never made it past the 2004 game. Steve Yzerman of the Detroit Red Wings was the cover athlete for "NHL Rivals 2004".

The "Madden NFL" franchise has become arguably the most successful sports video game franchise ever. "NBA Live" and "NCAA Football" have their popularity among their particular fans as well. EA Sports has made a successful "NHL" game series as well.
2. Which of these is the first iteration of the "Major League Baseball" series from EA Sports?

Answer: Triple Play Baseball '96

"Triple Play Baseball" was the first version of EA Sports' MLB video game series. While "MVP Baseball" is an EA Sports title, its first version was released in the 2003 title. "RBI Baseball" is a series developed by Namco, the first title of which was released in 1995. "MLB: The Show" is developed by San Diego Studios, and it's first release was in 2006.

It has become wildly popular in gaming circles, replacing EA Sports' series.
3. "Grand Slam Tennis" is an EA Sports tennis title.

First released in 2009, "Grand Slam Tennis" was developed by the Canadian division of EA Sports. Released for the Nintendo Wii, "Grand Slam Tennis" features all four Grand Slam locations: the U.S. Open, Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon.
4. EA Sports "Fight Night" (formerly "Knockout Kings") is the series developed for which sport?

Answer: Boxing

The boxing title released by EA Sports was titled "Knockout Kings" between 1998 and 2003, before being renamed to "Fight Night." As the UFC gained popularity, EA Sports released the first of the "UFC" series in 2014.

Just like every other sports video game series from EA Sports, the games were changed and updated to reflect the way the actual sport would change and evolve over the years.

"NFL Blitz" was developed by Midway Games and is a version of football played with no rules. Penalties in the game do not exist, including late hits, and quarters are shortened, and players attributes increased. EA Sports developed its "Street" series with its "EA Sports BIG" video game series. EA Sports also developed NBA and FIFA "Street" versions.

Fans were disappointed when it was announced that "NCAA Football" would not be renewed after the 2014 game. The college football video game franchise was much beloved by its fans, so the non-renewal was a shock to most. After many years of negotiations, "NCAA Football 25" was the first game to return to the series. The highly anticipated return was met with much enthusiasm.

The Arena Football League has been through the ups and downs of being able to keep the league running. EA Sports developed "Arena Football" for 2006, and "Arena Football: Road to Glory" in 2007. Tiburon Studios was most known for helping develop the "Madden NFL" series during its initial partnership with EA Sports. Konami is known for the creation of the "eFootball" soccer series.
