'South Park' - Season 8 Trivia Questions

1. Who gets a ninja star thrown into their eye?

From Quiz
Mixed "South Park" - Season 8

Answer: Butters

In "Good Times With Weapons", the boys end up lying to purchase cheap Japanese weapons from a local fair, sparking an intense battle between themselves and another group of boys and between themselves and Butters' Professor Chaos. One of these battles ends when Kenny throws a ninja star, hitting Butters in the eye, and they have to fight to get him to a doctor or, as they later try, a veterinarian. Ultimately, the town finds out the boys bought weapons, but the thought pales when Cartman is caught naked in front of the entire town during an auction, and that just happens to be more offensive.

2. When Wendy asked what Paris Hilton did, what was NOT one of the responses from the other crowd members?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Stupid Spoiled..."

Answer: "She gets invited to all the parties."

Wendy was confused by the furor surrounding Guess's new "spokesperson model." When she tried to find out what Paris Hilton did, she wasn't really able to get a straight answer. She was even less impressed when Hilton took the stage, complaining about her long night of partying and coughing white gunk into her hand! Hilton was there to announce the opening of her new store, Stupid Spoiled Whore!

3. What were the boys doing when they first got "served?"

From Quiz "South Park" - "You Got..."

Answer: playing with remote-controlled cars

The boys were in an empty parking lot, happily playing with their remote-controlled cars, when a group of kids approached, started music on their boombox, and proceeded to dance and talk smack. The boys stood dumbfounded throughout, not even uttering a word until the other kids had left the vicinity!

4. How did the boys get around the weapons seller's requirement that parents be present for buyers under 18?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Good Times With Weapons"

Answer: pretended to be orphans

After the salesman broke the bad news, Cartman paused for a moment and then broke into heaving sobs. When the salesman asked what was wrong, Stan picked up on the idea and told the man that they were brothers and their parents had "died in a car accident last year." After Stan joined Cartman in his wailing, Kenny and Kyle caught on as well and started to cry loudly. The boys were making such a scene that the salesman was uncomfortable and gave the boys the weapons. The technique was clearly a time-tested one, and Stan mused, "That's like the 12th time that's worked!"

5. Who encouraged Cartman to jump off the roof?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Cartman's Incredible Gift"

Answer: Kyle

All the other kids thought Cartman's plan was moronic and either didn't believe he'd go through with it or actually cautioned him against it. Kyle, however, seemed excited about the idea of his bullying friend sustaining some injury and egged him on. After making a little speech, Cartman did jump, and landed face-down in the snow. The other kids watched Cartman's motionless body for a few moments before silently walking away!

6. The boys were playing a game in Cartman's mom's minivan based on what?

From Quiz "South Park" - "The Passion of the Jew"

Answer: Star Trek

All the boys were wearing makeshift costumes and Kyle declared himself a Vulcan, though Cartman insisted on referring to him as a "Vulcan Jew."

7. One of the secrets Butters told AWESOME-O involved having to wear what?

From Quiz "South Park" - "AWESOME-O"

Answer: a diaper

Butters told AWESOME-O that he suffered from a "heziated colon," meaning he couldn't always control his sphincter. Butters explained, "sometimes I poop my pants, so I have to wear a diaper to school." Butters described what he had to do to treat the condition: "I have to take medicine for it every day. It's a little suppository I have to... put up my rectum." Cartman seemed satisfied that he'd gotten enough dirt on Butters and was preparing to tell him that AWESOME-O was just another prank, but Butters revealed he had some dirt of Cartman, too!

8. How much did Cartman try to charge for the snow-shoveling service?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Goobacks"

Answer: $8000

He might have misunderstood a bit the theory of negotiation which encourages starting high. However, when the homeowner first countered with $10, Cartman was able to bring her up to $15. Of course, claiming he was the "negotiator," Cartman just sat on his cell phone while the other boys did all the work!

9. What is the name of the Hooter's style restaurant in South Park?

From Quiz "South Park" Dance Off!

Answer: Raisins

Butters once spent a lot of money in this establishment in order to spend time with one of the waitresses.

10. How much are the ninja shurikens that "even Kenny can afford"?

From Quiz 801 "Good Times with Weapons"

Answer: $1.99

Stan buys the tonfas, Cartman gets the sai, and Kyle gets the nunchaku.

11. Cartman cheats his way into the Special Olympics, but who wins the competitions due to their overuse of steroids?

From Quiz Mixed "South Park" - Season 8

Answer: Jimmy

All of this happens in "Up the Down Steroids" when Jimmy and Timmy work and train together to take on their opponents in the South Park Special Olympics. Jimmy gets involved in steroid abuse and forges ahead, but soon learns the destructive nature of the drugs. Cartman, meanwhile, doesn't learn too valuable a lesson when he decides to get into the competition, faking his way in as a mentally disabled child. He's found out in the end, but not until he loses to his competition in virtually every event.

12. How did Tinkerbell kill herself?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Stupid Spoiled..."

Answer: gun

As Paris Hilton chatted inanely on the phone with a friend, Tinkerbell crawled into the limo's front seat, pulled a revolver out of the driver's pocket, dragged it to the back seat, and shot herself in the head. Hilton was shocked, yelling, "Another dog killed itself!"

13. Who did the boys go to for help after getting "served?"

From Quiz "South Park" - "You Got..."

Answer: Chef

Standing with the other boys on Chef's doorstep, Stan announced sadly, "Chef, we just got served." Chef immediately understood the gravity of the situation and invited the boys into his home for "cocoa." Chef got all the details before calling the boys' parents to let them know the situation.

14. When Kyle was worried about showing off their weapons to the other kids, Cartman accused Jews of having "no spine" and cited what man as an expert on the subject?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Good Times With Weapons"

Answer: Mel Gibson

When Cartman asserted that Jews couldn't be ninjas because they have "no spine," Kyle contended that Cartman didn't "know anything about Jews." Cartman held his ground and shot back, "My mom took me to see Mel Gibson's movie, 'The Passion', and Mel Gibson says you are a sloth and you are a liar. And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true."

15. The detectives took Cartman down to the crime scene at Stark's Pond to try to make use of Cartman's new-found "powers." When Cartman shut his eyes, what did he see?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Cartman's Incredible Gift"

Answer: ice cream and Oreos

Cartman saw a few deserts, but was most focused on "ice cream with chocolate sprinkles" and "Double-Stuff Oreos" that were being combined "to make Quadruple-Stuffs!" This information led the detectives to arrest Mr. Johannsen, the "owner of the ice cream shop."

16. What did Butters have a videotape of Cartman dancing with?

From Quiz "South Park" - "AWESOME-O"

Answer: Justin Timberlake cutout

Butters told AWESOME-O that he had the perfect revenge planned if Cartman ever messed with him again: "When Cartman is playing all alone in his backyard, he likes to dress up like Britney Spears and pretend he's her! He sings and dances around with a life-sized cutout of Justin Timberlake. [...] I've got the whole thing on tape! Even him making out with the Justin Timberlake cutout! [...] And if Cartman ever messes with me again, I'm gonna show that video to everybody!"

17. According to the news, how did the time portal work?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Goobacks"

Answer: it followed "Terminator" rules

News correspondent Harrison Moore reported, "I'm standing at the time portal, which scientists say, follows 'Terminator' rules. That is, it's one way only and you can't go back. This is in contrast to, say, 'Back to the Future' rules, where back and forth is possible, and of course 'Timerider' rules, which are just plain silly. Anyway, it appears that the man from the future is here to stay."

18. What movie was Cartman excited to find a good deal on?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Something Wall-Mart ..."

Answer: Time Cop

Cartman grabbed a package and exclaimed, "Dude, check it out! 'Time Cop' on DVD. Three copies for 18 bucks!" Kyle pointed out that there wasn't much logic in getting three copies of the same movie, but Cartman contended that the logic lay in the great value: "Because one copy is $9.98. But this way you save, like, 20 bucks!" Kyle demurred and Cartman concluded that he was simply a bad shopper.

19. Who competes with Paris Hilton to win a title?

From Quiz "South Park": Season 8, Second Half

Answer: Mr. Slave

20. What episode number was aired second?

From Quiz "South Park": Season 8, First Half

From Quiz Mixed "South Park" - Season 8

Answer: The Passion of the Christ

While Stan and Kenny head to Los Angeles to seek their ticket fares from Mel Gibson directly (and discover how crazy he really is), Kyle has to admit to Cartman that he was right all along-- the Jewish wrought horrible torture upon Jesus Christ and likely deserve his bad attitude. This forces Kyle to change his ways, fighting to atone for his peoples' sins. Cartman, meanwhile, leads an Anti-Semitic march through town, taking advantage of everyone else's ignorance. In the end, everything sorts itself out, with a nearly-naked Mel Gibson chasing Stan and Kenny through town and proving everything a bit too out-of-hand.

23. What did Paris Hilton plan to dress Butters up as?

From Quiz "South Park" - "Stupid Spoiled..."

Answer: a bear

She was sobbing over her dead dog when she saw Butters playing in his yard and ordered her driver to stop. She announced, "Look at how cute. I want that! I want that!" Then she hugged Butters, telling him, "I'm gonna feed you, and take care of you, and call you Mr. Biggles!" After telling her driver to put her "find" in the car, she mused, "I want to find a bear costume for him. Won't he be so cute dressed up as a bear?" The driver tried to tell Hilton that her Mr. Biggles was actually someone's child, but Hilton refused to listen!

24. To what song did Randy teach Stan a dance?

From Quiz "South Park" - "You Got..."

Answer: Achy-Breaky Heart

After Randy found out that his son had gotten served and done nothing, he insisted, "When somebody challenges you to dance, you have to dance back at them, or else they'll think you're weak." Randy then ordered Stan to change into "loose-fitting clothes" and meet him "in the garage" for dance lessons! Randy told his son, "Dancing is all about a frame of mind. Now, I'm not telling you to go around challenging other kids to dance, but when they challenge you, you just look 'em straight in the eye, and give 'em this." Then Randy put on Billy Ray Cyrus' classic one-hit wonder and showed Stan his best moves.

Answer: his mother

Deets was wearing a long coat splattered with blood and asked the boys if they wanted to see his "cotton panties" before opening the coat to reveal a yellow bikini. 28. What household chore did Butters do with AWESOME-O?

From Quiz "South Park" - "AWESOME-O"

From Quiz "South Park" - "Goobacks"
