All the other kids thought Cartman's plan was moronic and either didn't believe he'd go through with it or actually cautioned him against it. Kyle, however, seemed excited about the idea of his bullying friend sustaining some injury and egged him on.

After making a little speech, Cartman did jump, and landed face-down in the snow. The other kids watched Cartman's motionless body for a few moments before silently walking away!

Cartman saw a few deserts, but was most focused on "ice cream with chocolate sprinkles" and "Double-Stuff Oreos" that were being combined "to make Quadruple-Stuffs!" This information led the detectives to arrest Mr. Johannsen, the "owner of the ice cream shop."

Deets was wearing a long coat splattered with blood and asked the boys if they wanted to see his "cotton panties" before opening the coat to reveal a yellow bikini. Kyle yelled across the police tape to suggest the detectives consider Deets, but the detectives ignored him.

Then Deets held up a mannequin missing its arms and legs and had a conversation with it, calling it "Mother." As Deets walked away, Kyle again tried unsuccessfully to get the detectives' attention.

Answer: the back of a comic book

They informed him that they had used the "ad in the comic book" and paid "the $25 fee for the degree from the Psychic Detective School." They further claimed that Cartman was supposed to give them 10% of his earnings. Cartman was certainly not about to part with any of his earnings, so the other psychics were forced to initiate a "telekinetic battle of minds" (complete with sound effects and hand gestures)! When the battle ended with no clear winner, the psychics told Cartman they'd filed a "class-action lawsuit" against him and he had to be in court the next day.

Answer: Ms. Crabtree

In a moment of self-referential writing, Det. Murphy observed, "Her name is... Victoria Crabtree, bus driver for the elementary school. She was considered an ancillary character, one the fans wouldn't miss much." Sgt. Lou was horrified, thinking that there was a copycat to the copycat killer!

Answer: "Do you see?"

Just like the serial killer from Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon", Deets kidnapped Cartman and tried to reeducate him, saying, "let me show you the things that I've done, so you will understand the breadth of my transformation." Then he used a projector to show Cartman slides of his "work." After each slide, Deets asked Cartman, "Do you see?" Unlike the killer in Harris' novel, though, Deets showed Cartman a long series of vacation photos, including Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park.

Answer: facial hair

Both Cartman and Kyle were given "face warmers" during their hospital stays, making each of them look like strangely tiny adults with full-grown mustaches and beards!

Answer: no

Sgt. Lou didn't even seem mildly disturbed by the obsession; he just commented that his son was "a big fan of that too." Then Det. Murphy found a wall of severed hands, but Sgt. Lou still thought Deets was innocent, since the hands appeared to be right hands and the killer took the left hands from his victims.

The detectives left the house peacefully, not hearing Cartman's muffled screams for help from the basement!

He also used a welding torch to repair the body of a car. He seemed to realize he'd gotten sidetracked, though, because he went and asked Det. Murphy, "Do you remember what I was supposed to be doing?" Det. Murphy jogged his memory and Sgt. Lou went back to researching hands, ultimately concluding that Deets was, indeed, the killer!

Answer: the lightbulbs shattered

Though Kyle was adamant about there being no such thing as psychic visions, insisting that "there's a logical explanation for every psychic story you've ever heard," it seemed that he might actually have some psychic abilities. Just like Carrie when she got upset at prom, Kyle's angry energy caused the lightbulbs to shatter and a shelf to fall off the wall! Of course, Kyle held to his beliefs and assured everyone, "There's a logical explanation for that."
