Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Belinda ends up speaking to a sold-out crowd at which of these venues?

Answer: The O2

'Belinda Blinked 3' picks up immediately where 'Belinda Blinked 2' left off (with Tony blinking) and Bella is called into Tony's office to discuss her new position, even though she seems to be botching a new keycard installation as they speak. Bella runs into Giselle on the way out of the office to discover that Tony popped the question to her during the events of book two! On Friday morning, Belinda ends up taking the DLR to the 'Millennium Dome Building' to be outfitted and mic'ed by a small man dressed in black named Alfie. Before she knows it, she's thrust on-stage in front of twenty thousand thrilled ladies to promote the Oxy-Brillo range.

It's all very Oprah-esque; she ends up revealing that there's a non-stick tin wok under every seat in the O2, a stunt that would cost millions if actually performed.
2. The Duchess introduces Belinda to several aristocrats at her manor home. Where does the Duchess reside?

Answer: Epsom Hall

After visiting the O2, Belinda whisks herself off to the Ritz Spa to meet with the Duchess (arriving five minutes late!) and the two create plans to visit the Duchess' estate-- the Elizabethan Epsom Hall-- where Belinda will be introduced to several members of high society. During her tour, Belinda is shown the secret room behind the water closet containing several floor-to-ceiling glass mirrors and several unique implements, some of which Belinda is encouraged to wear to dinner, even though it may be severely inappropriate to do so. Of course, she does anyways, much to the Duchess' whim, before going to dinner and meeting TV journalist Tara Gold, security agency CEO Jim Walters, OBE and city banker Norman Askwith, and his companion, fashion designer to the rich and famous Chiara Montague. Sir James Godwin, the owner of Steeles, also happens to be in attendance. Of particular note, the Duchess spends the night toying with Belinda, forcing our protagonist to blame the frozen Chicken Kievs made for dinner for her behavior.
3. Belinda gets into a horrible accident involving which of these?

Answer: Convertible

At 9am, after a night at Epsom Hall, Belinda dons her equestrian gear and joins the Duchess in attending the Under-19s Ladies Show-Jumping Trial Event at Batfield Park. Over some gin and tonics, Belinda is introduced to the French businesswoman Penelope Pollet, the Duchess' mistress, whose daughter happens to be racing in the show (her daughter places eighth of ten, and there's no shortage of celebration with Australian chardonnay). What follows is a top-down ride in Belinda's work-perk convertible before she drops off the Duchess and speeds back towards London.

It's during this speeding that Belinda goes too fast, skids off the road and, unblinking, crashes into an ancient oak tree.
4. Marco Origuez hails from what country?

Answer: Brazil

Although Belinda crashes her convertible, she's saved by the airbag and seems to have the wherewithal to pose as a damsel in distress for any possible passers-by. Two hours later, she ends up getting the attention of a 1960s Mustang driven by Marco Origuez, a Brazilian man (and he knew it!) with a Boston accent.

As they drive back to his Central London apartment to check for internal organ damage, he reveals that he knows her as 'the queen of pots and pans' because he met Bella. He was actually the plastic surgeon who performed Jim Sterling's experimental transplant surgery. Unsurprisingly, they spend the night at his place.
5. During lunch with Mr. Claus Bloch, Belinda eats blue cheese fish mousse served on a bed of lettuce with what descriptor?

Answer: Distressed

The story immediately passes to a dinner with Claus Bloch, the Austrian client Belinda was connected with following her presentation at the O2. This man, who turns out to be the Direct Retail Door-to-Door and Coffee Morning Organization CEO and Managing Director, takes her out to lunch at The Grosvenor in London. Over a blue cheese fish mousse served on distressed lettuce and a bottle of champagne, a spot of something is spilled on Belinda's dress and, obviously, it needs to be removed. What follows is both carnal and concerning and it only escalates from there...but it's not over.
6. Belinda's dealings with Alfonse Stirbacker take place in which European city?

Answer: Brussels

And after work is done with Claus Bloch, Belinda heads to Brussels, Belgium for dealings with Alfonse Stirbacker, one of the three men she encountered in the maze in the first 'Belinda Blinked' novel. Stirbacker takes Belinda out for two unique sexual adventures, the first at a meeting with Madelaine Chocolat(e) who takes Belinda into a pool of cointreau-flavoured chocolate and the second to a special library for an exclusive private party with eighteen other people-- nine men and nine women-- who engage in a sexual form of speed dating.

It ends with Belinda getting assaulted by the paparazzi en route to a fleet of waiting vehicles. Apparently, this thing goes on twice a year. Just another day on the job.
7. Which of Belinda's regional managers is visited in Yorkshire?

Answer: Ken Dewsbury

Belinda's next stop ends up being Yorkshire where she is required to accompany Ken Dewsbury to Steeles' largest UK supplier and engage in a confrontation with Andy Millstone, the Distribution Supervisor and Trade Union Boss of Shakespeare Retail Stores.

It ends off being as saucy as you'd expect, with Belinda using her wiles to seduce Andy and defuse the situation. What follows is more concerning as Belinda heads to Ken's rental houses in Leeds and takes a shower only to find the place rigged with thousands of dollars of expensive video recording equipment in a hidden cupboard.

It all leads to a wet and wild union.
8. What is the name of Steeles' Pots and Pans' new receptionist?

Answer: Maeve

Maeve is somewhat of an afterthought considering the events that occur in chapters 11 and 12 because she's still learning the ropes as Belinda and Bella surprise Giselle with a hen-do on the Costa del Sol, taking her up in Hazel's 1950s De Havilland plane full of weekend editions of "The Guardian" for delivery.

They try to spend time with the poolside waiter at the Imperial Hotel and Sun Resort, Miguel, but their attention soon turns to a sunburnt Swedish man. Green Spanish wine leaves the four women tipsy enough to follow along to his yacht, and there they have a naked party with cocktails.
9. Belinda accompanies Des Martin to Bargain Basement Land as a result of purchases involving which of these groups?

Answer: Rag'n'Bone Men

Belinda's meetings with Des Martin take them to Central London's Price Keen and Bargain Store supplier and a dilapidated warehouse run by the Schweinsteiger twins, Hans and Greta. Of particular interest to Des and Belinda are prototype pots and pans collected from their retail rivals at Bisch, but those items fall by the wayside when Greta offers some Chilean chardonnay and some brassieres from Tokyo that they can try on.

When the meeting is said and done, Des, suffering through a painful divorce, takes Belinda back to her place where she kindly seduces him on the concrete spiral stairs leading to her apartment.

It's the least she can do to support her salesman.
10. The final chapter of the book regards Herr Bisch and takes place in East Berlin as he meets with someone known by what name?

Answer: 'The Special One'

The final chapter of this book, surprisingly, brings the readers to East Berlin, though well after the fall of the Berlin Wall, as Herr Bisch prepares for his 9:17am meeting with his special agent, a mole who's successfully infiltrated the ranks of Steeles Pots and Pans to get him intel and steal their product line.

The deep cover seems to have netted her one million Euros and brought Bisch one step closer to obtaining the Trioxybrillo Range and bring down his competitors. Who 'The Special One' is...well...that's for another book.
