England is one of the four countries that make up the United Kingdom. It is the home of many famous buildings including the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, both of which can be found in the city of London. The name of the currency is the pound sterling.

The Spanish Steps are a famous landmark in Rome, the capital of Italy. There is a custom that if you throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, near the Spanish Steps, that you will return. Venice is a famous city of Italy, built in a lagoon. Most people in Venice travel by boat or by crossing bridges. Italy is also the home of pizza!

After World War II, Germany was split into two halves - East and West Germany. The Berlin Wall was built in 1961, and split Berlin into two halves - East and West Berlin. It was only in 1989 that the wall was pulled down. You can still see some sections of the wall today, and there is a museum about Checkpoint Charlie, one of the few places where you could cross between the two halves of the city.
