Los Angeles International Airport, better known by its Airport Code, LAX, is one of the world's busiest airports due in part to its location on the U.S. West Coast and the fact that L.A. is one of the most populated cities in the United States. The iconic Theme Building is in the center of the airport and contained a restaurant and observation deck. Due to security concerns and aging architecture, the 'Googie', as it's also known, was partially closed off to travellers. LAX and its four runways can be found on the Pacific Coast.

Built in 1873 as an observatory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Elevator Lacerda was the largest elevator in the world at the time of its construction. Connecting the upper and lower parts of the city, the elevator is built on Ladeira Mountain. It takes half a minute to ride the length.
Salvador, Brazil, is in the state of Bahia in the northeast of the country. Despite it being less-known to outsiders, it's the third-largest city in Brazil and has been reshaped by years of rule by early Portuguese settlers. It was, at one time, the nation's capital.

Fortaleza, the capital of Ceará in Northeastern Brazil, is the fifth-largest city in Brazil behind Rio, Sao Paolo, Salvador, and Brasília. Both Fortaleza and the seaside resort town of Praia de Combuco are on the Atlantic Coast facing northward. While Fortaleza isn't a common international destination for tourists, its extensive beaches and hotels make it an ideal tropical locale. Fortaleza, like many others in Brazil, was a host city of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The second-highest point in Bolivia, a country already well above sea level, Illimani is a major geographical landmark for citizens of the Bolivian capital city, La Paz, which already has an elevation of more than three and a half kilometers (making it the highest capital in the world). Because of how high the area is, visitors may find the altitude a bit overwhelming, and acclimatization is likely necessary-- there's simply less oxygen up there. Illimani, reaching over four kilometers above sea level, is high enough that it's always covered in snow.

Mount Eden, also known as Maungawhau in Maori, is a dormant cinder cone which last erupted more than twenty-eight thousand years ago. The highest point in Auckland, Mount Eden overlooks the entire city, the largest by population in the country (though it's not the capital-- that'd be Wellington). Auckland is surrounded by more than fifty volcanoes in its area, though none are expected to explode until long after we're all gone.

Some of these volcanoes are over two hundred thousand years old.

In northwestern Cambodia, Siem Reap marries Khmer ruins with Chinese influences to make one of the country's most famous tourist regions. Angkor Wat, a series of Buddhist temples built in the twelfth century, are the country's most popular landmark; the temple city was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. Siem Reap is also home to the protected lake of Tonlé Sap, the largest in the country, which hosts several floating villages built on its waters.

Found adjacent to Jain Mandir in the Chandni Chowk Market region, the Charity Birds Hospital does exactly what you'd think; it's a hospital for sick birds run by veterinary monks in Delhi, the nation's capital. The region is often a busy one, mainly because Chandni Chowk is one of the busiest marketplaces in the country known for its clothing, jewellery, and food.

The Jain Mandir temple complex also happens to be situated across from the Red Fort.

Answer: Kazakhstan

Kok Tobe, translating into the Kazakh for 'Green Hill', marks the highest point in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, more than a kilometer above sea level in this landlocked nation. Kok Tobe, mainly a recreation area home to several unique amenities, boasts views of Almaty from the top, stretching miles across an extensive city home to over one and a half million citizens, though only a small fraction of the country's total population. Speaking of the particularly green nature of Kok Tobe, Almaty is a very short distance away from the expansive Ile-Alatau National Park on the border with Kyrgyzstan. Almaty is not Kazakhstan's capital, despite being the largest city. That would be Astana.

VDNKh was built beginning in 1935 and remained as a permanent exhibition ground in Soviet Moscow, becoming one of the largest fairgrounds and show parks in the nation going into World War II. As the nation progressed through the Race to Space and the Cold War, the grounds became the site of major advances as exhibits and shows developed. Eventually, with the dissolution of the Soviet Empire, VDNKh Park became a historical site and is now home to a Buran spacecraft.

Answer: Columbia River

Found in Cascade Locks in Hood River County, Oregon, the Bridge of the Gods is a cantilever bridge known for its unique silhouette above the Columbia River. Stretching more than half a kilometer across the water, the bridge effectively marks the boundary between Washington and Oregon just a short distance from the Bonneville Dam.

It's also the lowest point on the Pacific Crest Trail as it passes through the Cascade Mountains. The name Bridge of the Gods is also used for a nearby geological feature created in a landslide.
