After doing everything she can to possibly convince President Snow of her undying love for Peeta, Katniss agrees to publicly announce their engagement. At the end of their legendary Victory Tour through the Districts, Katniss and Peeta stand in front of a Capitol audience and confess that they are getting married.

In doing this, Katniss hopes to defuse the growing rebellion in the Districts and save her family.

At the Capitol party on the Victory Tour, Katniss takes a break from dancing with Peeta to dance with Plutarch Heavensbee, much to her dismay. Being the new Head Gamemaker, Plutarch is describing a secret strategy meeting for the Quarter Quell that he has to attend at midnight, before rubbing his thumb across the face of his gorgeous new watch.

This activates a picture of a Mockingjay on the face, before it disappears.

Answer: Hazelle

After being caught passing back into District 12 with a dead turkey, Gale is captured by the new head Peacekeeper, Romulus Thread. He is sentenced to a whipping, from which Peeta, Katniss and Haymitch save him and carry him back to the Everdeen's house with the help of some mining friends.

After this, Gale's mother Hazelle visits, but is unable to stay, as she has to go home and look after the other children.

Answer: Maysilee Donner

Just before the unveiling of the twist in the third Quarter Quell, Katniss and Prim discover that their mother used to be friends with a girl named Maysilee Donner, who competed in the second Quarter Quell, along with Haymitch. After teaming up with Haymitch in the Games, she was eventually killed by candy-pink birds skewering her neck, and Katniss' mother inherited her canary after she died. Maysilee Donner, being Madge Undersee's aunt, was the last owner of the Mockingjay pin before Katniss.

After a long time of indecision about what he should do in front of the Gamemakers, Peeta decides to use the camouflage equipment to paint a picture on the floor. The picture depicts what Rue looked like after she died and Katniss buried her in flowers.

When Katniss goes in to the Training Centre after Peeta, she can smell bleach, and a mat has been pulled over the picture to try and conceal it.

Just after Cinna is bashed in the launch room underneath the arena, Katniss tries her best to take in her surroundings without thinking about what the Peacekeepers might be doing to her stylist. She notices that instead of the supplies being evenly spread around the Cornucopia as they are most years, she finds that all of the goodies are stacked inside the seven-metre-high mouth of the horn.

After the first day in the Quarter Quell arena, Katniss and Peeta team up with the District 4 Tributes, Mags and Finnick. As night falls that first day, Katniss decides to search for water nearby, as they have been travelling all day without a drink. When she returns from her unsuccessful search, she realises that Mags has woven grass mats out of the two-metre-high grass tufts, and fashioned them into a hut.

As the pack of 6 allied Tributes (Katniss, Peeta, Finnick, Johanna, Beetee, Wiress) move towards the Cornucopia, they hope to learn if their clock theory is correct. Only, once they start planning their next move, they realise that Wiress has stopped singing her song, and that everything is silent. This is when Katniss turns around to discover Gloss has slit Wiress's throat.

Answer: Ten and eleven

As the Tributes start to realise that the Quarter Quell arena is a clock, Peeta draws a map of the arena on a leaf, and all of them contribute to marking the different sections. This is just before Wiress dies, and based on watching the tidal wave kill a Tribute days before, the allies mark the section between ten and eleven to be the home of the tsunami.

Answer: Peeta's knife

After agreeing to travel down the hill from the lightning tree with Johanna to secure the wire in the ocean, Johanna knocks Katniss out and cuts the tracker out of her arm. This is when Brutus and Enobaria run past, thinking Katniss is dead. She gets up and eventually travels back up the hill, where she encounters Beetee unconscious on the ground, holding Peeta's knife, which is attached back to the lighting tree.
