1. Things are going smoothly when a bevy of actresses show up uninvited. They're all allowed in, except the one who starred in 2009's "The Uninvited". Who's getting left out in the cold?

Strangely, her "Uninvited" co-star Elizabeth Banks is on the guest list, but that's because Eli is a big fan of "Slither".

Browning has stayed away from horror since "The Uninvited" but plays a lively, though decomposing, dead girl on TV's "American Gods".

2. Little Danny Torrance is here from "The Shining". He replied to his RSVP, and said he'd be bringing his favourite booze for your guests. What colourful drink would you associate with the lad?

"If my Mom comes looking for me, bend your finger and tell her 'Danny isn't here Mrs Torrance!' That always freaks her out."

Danny originally wrote Red Rum on the wall at The Overlook when his Shining alerted him of his father's murderous intent.

As Eli's pal Oskar was 12 in 2008's "Let the Right One In" he would now definitely be of drinking age. Does that make you feel old?

3. Eli doesn't mind horror remakes or 3D films, but hates when a horror is remade in 3D, as "Let Me In", the American re-make of her film, was in only in 2D and she gets jealous! You can only one let in the cast from one of the following remakes then, so which was released in 2D only?

Answer: 2006's "Funny Games"

Eli is actually hoping the "Funny Games" fellas will show up, as she wants to play "Cards Against Humanity" with them.

Michael Haneke remade "Funny Games", his own 1997 film about a home invasion, this time in English. It was in 2D both times!

Creature feature "Piranha," slasher "My Bloody Valentine" and zombie flick "Night of the Living Dead" were all remade in 3D for the new millennium, though Hollywood's urge to release horror in 3D seems to have abetted, though there are still plenty of remakes making their way to the box office!

4. The cast of TV's "Friends" are here, but this ain't no sitcom! The right one allowed in is the one who was in the original "Leprechaun" movie - who was it?

Answer: Jennifer Aniston

She's even wearing the same multi-coloured shorts! You'd have thought Courteney Cox would be allowed in due to her work on the "Scream" franchise, but Ghostface showed up earlier and you know they'll just end up fighting.

5. A car full of directors pulls up, and you've never seen so much facial hair! Of course, you're not letting anyone in who hasn't directed a proper horror movie - who is driving straight back home?

Answer: John Hughes

Kevin Smith directed "Red State" and "Tusk", Peter Jackson helmed "Braindead" (AKA "Dead Alive"), "Bad Taste" and "The Frighteners" and Gus Van Sant directed Vince Vaughn in a shot-for-shot remake of "Psycho" for some reason. John Hughes never turned his hand to horror, though Eli reckons "Home Alone" could be re-made as a torture-porn movie in the vein of "Hostel!"

6. You're about to sign for a consignment of creepy looking puppets but Eli interjects - "Make sure none of them are sentient - you know I find the autonomous ones annoying." Let the right dummy in!

Answer: Billy from the "Saw" franchise

Billy is a ventriloquist's dummy used by Jigsaw to convey the instructions for surviving his fiendish scenarios. He's often seen via TV, but has shown up in person, mechanised. It's funny to think of Jigsaw getting the movement of the mouth to match his pre-recorded instructions just right, or programming the dummy to ride a tricycle the right distance at the right time!

Chucky, the "Puppet Master" puppets and the "Demonic Toys" are all supernaturally imbued with spirits, and can therefore move and act independently.

Can you believe they made 12 "Puppet Master" films as well as a reboot?

7. Eli is worried this is turning into a boys night out - time to start letting some ladies in! This means you can turn in the killers from all of these films bar one - which one had a male killer?

Answer: Sorority Row

Though the Theta Pi sisterhood are guilty of covering up a murder, the main villain killing them off is a male.

"Valentine" and "Urban Legend" are both slashers. "Urban Legend" has the gimmick that all the murders are staged to imitate urban legends.

In "Species" Natasha Henstridge is an alien-human hybrid looking for a mate, though doing so would jeapordise the future of the human race. She had better be on her best behaviour tonight!

8. A group turns up under the name of Voorhees. You check the guest list and there's only one Voorhees listed - the killer from 1980's "Friday the 13th". Who's getting in?

Answer: Pamela Voorhees

That's right, it's Pamela offing the youth of Camp Crystal Lake in honour of Jason's memory in the first installment. Jason pops his head out of the water at the end of the movie, though he won't have his trademark goaltender mask until Part III.

You politely decline Jason entry, and you are met with his trademark blank stare. Hopefully he won't hold this against you!

9. A few more Hollywood types show up hoping to get in. Eli instructs you, "Don't let anyone in from the original six "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies. Freddy's telling jokes back here and I don't want anyone stepping on his punchlines." Whose dream are you making come true by allowing entry?

Answer: Brad Pitt

Johnny Depp is famously in the original "A Nightmare on Elm Street". His character Glen is liquefied when a hole appears in his bed.

In "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors", Laurence Fishburne plays Max, an orderly at the Westin Hills Asylum who makes it out cut but alive.

Breckin Meyer plays Spencer in "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare". Both a stoner and a gamer, he initially thinks it's cool when he gets placed in a video game, with Freddy controlling the villains. There are fruit-flies with greater life expectancies than Spencer.

Brad Pitt wasn't in any of the movies, but he was in an episode of TV spin-off "Freddy's Nightmares" as Rick, one young lovebird who needs a lesson in facing reality. He makes it out alive, and even gets to sing!

10. At the end of the night the Universal Classic Monsters show up, but the place is getting pretty crowded! You decide to let in the one who brought a snack Eli might enjoy, as it reminds you of the setting of "Let the Right One In". Who's the lucky monster?

Answer: The Creature from the Black Lagoon, carrying Swedish fish

Hopefully the Swedish remind her of Stockholm, so you wave the creature through.

You try and stop the Invisible Man from coming in, but after he hands you his cake it's hard to keep track of him.

You weren't going to allow access to the Phantom, but there's no way you're getting between him and the karaoke machine.

You apologize to the Wolf Man but don't let him through. Maybe he'll have luck getting into the inferior party that Chlo� Grace Moretz is hosting down the street.
