Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Honey, The Police Were Just Here..." There is something they want to say to you. The Police recorded which of the following songs?

Answer: De Do Do Do De Da Da Da

"De Do Do Do De Da Da Da" is on "Zenyattą Mondatta" just one many excellent albums from The Police. Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland made a great combination and many fine tunes they created together.

"Paint It Black" is from the Rolling Stones on the album "Aftermath". "I'm In Love With My Car" is from Queen's album "A Night at the Opera". "Where The Streets Have No Name" is from U2's "Joshua Tree".
2. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They said they would like to talk to you about your missing Pink Floyd album. What is the name of that Pink Floyd album?

Answer: Wish You Were Here

Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" is the title track to the album. "Wish You Were Here" followed the remarkably successful album "Dark Side Of The Moon" and was followed by "Animals" and the well known album "The Wall", without a doubt a truly remarkable band.

"Bat Out Of Hell" is an album from Meat Loaf. "Nevermind" is from Nirvana. "Jailbreak" is from the Irish band Thin Lizzy.
3. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They want to ask Phil Collins about a drowning. Was "In The Air Tonight" about Phil watching a drowning he witnessed?

Answer: No

The drowning story is just an urban legend. "In The Air Tonight" is a truly great song which was rejected by Genesis because it was too simple. So Phil did it solo and it is on the album "Face Value". (The drumming is fantastic.)
4. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." You were supposed to meet them here. I'll call them and tell them you are finally here. Did someone say The Bee Gees? One of the following is a name of a Bee Gees live album, but which one?

Answer: Here At Last

The Bee Gees released "Here At Last" in 1977; it made number one in New Zealand and then "Saturday Night Fever" was recorded for the movie and hit after hit followed. They also provided many other artists with hit songs.

"The Completion Backward Principle" is an album from The Tubes. "Back In Black" is from AC/DC. "God Shuffled His Feet" is from the Canadian band Crash Test Dummies.
5. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They thought I had gone missing but I'm here now, so don't panic. I had just been watching a DVD of a Queen concert and I saw one of the following songs, which one was it?

Answer: Now I'm Here

"Now I'm Here" was a regular at Queen's concerts. You can find "Now I'm Here" on "Queen Live Killers". I experienced it live at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand and it was amazing.

"Down Under" is from Men at Work. "Safety Dance" is from Men Without Hats. "The Steak" is a very funny tune from Ray Stevens.
6. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They said the music is too loud and I need to turn it down. Which of the following is the song from E.L.O. (Electric Light Orchestra) I was playing?

Answer: Don't Bring Me Down

"Don't Bring Me Down" from E.L.O. (Electric Light Orchestra) is on the album "Discovery". The great Jeff Lynn not only led this fantastic band but also utilized his composing skills. Jeff Lynn also worked with Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan to create The Traveling Wilburys, now that's what I call a Super-Group.

"Rubber Bullets" is from 10cc. "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick" is from Ian Dury and the Blockheads. "Red Red Wine" is from UB40.
7. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They thought you should know Steven Tyler is in town. Hold on tight and get ready to rock. One of these albums is from Aerosmith but which one?

Answer: Get A Grip

Aerosmith have been around since the early 1970s and released 15 albums up to 2012 (they may release more yet if their past is anything to go by). "Get A Grip followed "Pump"; these are my two favorite Aerosmith albums.

"You Are Who You Is" is one of the plethora of Frank Zappa albums. "Slip Of The Tongue" is from Whitesnake. "Panorama" is an album from The Cars.
8. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They want to ask Dire Straits if they really did get some "Money For Nothing". What is the name of the Dire Straits album that "Money For Nothing" was first released on?

Answer: Brothers In Arms

Dire Straits made some awesome albums; my favorites are; "Making Movies", "Love Over Gold" and "Brothers In Arms". If you are not familiar with their work I highly recommend these albums.

"Welcome To My Nightmare" is an album from Alice Cooper. Billy Joel released "An Innocent Man". "The Dream Police" was from Cheap Trick.
9. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here..." They said everything will work out in the long run. So let's just relax and listen to some Eagles music. One of the following is an Eagles album; which one is it?

Answer: The Long Run

"The Long Run" from The Eagles includes the tracks "The Long Run", "I Can't Tell You Why" and "Heartache Tonight" to name a few, yet another brilliant album in my collection.

"Physical Graffiti" is from Led Zeppelin. "Agent Provocateur" from Foreigner. "Cultosaurus Erectus" from Blue Oyster Cult.
10. "Honey, the Police Were Just Here"; was this the title of the song Led Zeppelin won a Grammy for in 1960?

Answer: No

"Honey, the Police Were Just Here" was NOT a 1960 Led Zeppelin number. Led Zeppelin did not exist in 1960; they began as the New Yardbirds in 1968 and were renamed soon after, due to a legal dispute regarding the Yardbirds part of the name. Led Zeppelin were awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005 and also had four inductions to the Hall of Fame. First in 1999 for "Led Zeppelin IV". Again in 2003 for "Stairway to Heaven". Also in 2004 for their first album "Led Zeppelin". And finally in 2007 for "Whole Lotta Love". Led Zeppelin were also nominated for Best New Artist in 1970 but lost out to Crosby, Stills & Nash.
