1. Which Motown band said they were "Easy" in 1977?

Answer: The Commodores

The groups other hits include "Machine Gun" and "Three Times A Lady". The Commodores were once fronted by Lionel Ritchie, who, after going solo in 1982, went on to have many more hits.
2. Which UK band decided they were "Easy" in 1997?

Answer: Terrorvision

Terrovision's biggest hit came in 1999, when "Tequila" went all the way to number 2 in the UK charts. A best of, titled "Whales And Dolphins", is an ideal introduction to their work.

Answer: Scotland World Cup Squad

"Easy Easy" reached number 20 in the UK charts of 1974. The Squad also had a hit, "Ole Ola" in 1978, featuring vocals by keen football fan Rod Stewart!

Answer: Adam Faith

Adam, (real name Terence Nelhams) also had a number one UK hit with "Poor Me". As well as a singer, Adam also starred in TV shows and was known as a financial expert. He sadly died in March 2003 of a heart attack, aged 62.

Answer: Philip Bailey and Phil Collins

Take one member of Earth, Wind And Fire (Phillip Bailey) and one member of Genesis (Phil Collins) let them write a song together, and the result is a number one hit. Easy!

Answer: The Eagles

Written by singer songwriter Jackson Browne, "Take It Easy" made it to number 12 in the US charts, but failed to enter the UK top 40.

The Walker brothers (who were not really related) topped the UK charts with this song, and it climbed to number 16 in the American charts. the trio's other huge hit was "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore"
8. Which relaxed male vocalist claimed "It's So Easy" in 1970?

Answer: Andy Williams

I have something in common with Andy Williams. Our birthdays are both on the 3rd December! Andy was born a few years earlier then me though, in 1928. His many other hits include "Can't Help Falling In Love", "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You", and "Music To Watch Girls By".

His songs became quite popular again in the late 90s, when they were used on a couple of car advertisments, leading to an increase in Andy's record sales.

An American number 4 hit, this song failed to make the British charts, although the band did have hits with "Mama Told Me Not To Come" and "Joy To The World".

Answer: Keith Carradine

Again the song was not a hit in the UK, but reached number 17 in the US charts. From an acting family, Keith's brother David appeared, amongst other things, in the TV series "Kung-Fu". "I'm Easy" was from the soundtrack of "Nashville".

Answer: Linda Ronstadt

Written by Buddy Holly, "It's So Easy" was a healthy number 5 hit in America, but failed to make the UK Top 40. Linda's biggest British hit was a duet with Aaron Neville, "Don't Know Much", a number 2 hit in 1989.
12. Which Australian group begged "Take It Easy On Me" in 1981?

Answer: Little River Band

The Little River Band didn't find things easy in the UK, where they failed to get any chart entries at all, despite "Take It Easy On Me" reaching number 10 in America, and the band having other US hits such as "Reminiscing" and "Lonesome Loser".
13. Who was the female group who discovered "Life Ain't Easy" in 1998, but made the UK charts anyway?

Answer: Cleopatra

"Life Ain't Easy" became a number 4 hit for the three Higgins sisters, Cleopatra, Zainam, and Yonah. The girls also charted in 1998 with a cover of the Jackson Five's "I Want You Back".
