The 12 players were Charlie Dibbs, George Clayden, Albert Collier, Harry Chesswas, Jack Beveridge, Frank Murphy, Bob Makeham, Harold Rumney, Gordon Coventry, Harry Collier, Sid Coventry, and Bill Libbis.

Answer: Warwick Armstrong

Warwick Armstrong played for South Melbourne from 1898-1900. He also captained Australia to the 5-0 whitewash of England in 1920-21. Laurie Nash (SM) and Sam Loxton (St. K) both played VFL football and Test cricket, but never captained Australia. Bill Lawry never played VFL football.

Len Maddocks from Victoria played 7 Tests for Australia. Don Tallon was from QLD and played in 21 Tests.

Martin Pike played for 4 clubs and in 4 Premierships (NM-1999 and Brisbane Lions-2001-2003). Ian Stewart play for 2 clubs (St. Kilda and Richmond) and played in a Premiership for each of them.
Ron Barassi played for Melbourne and Carlton and played in 6 Melbourne Premiership Teams.

Max Walker played for Melbourne and took 138 wicketsin his 34 Tests. By the way he bowled and moved his feet, he earned the nicknames "Tangles" and "Tanglefoot". Graeme Watson also played for Melbourne and 5 tests for Australia. Simon O'Donnell played 24 games for St. Kilda and 6 Tests for Australia. Keith Miller played for St. Kilda and played in 55 Tests for Australia and was also an author, besides being an RAAF fighter pilot during WWII.

That aroused the intersts of St. Kilda Football Club.

Answer: Kevin Templeton (Foot)

Kevin Templeton kicked 118 Goals in 1978. He also won the Brownlow Medal in 1980. Simon Beasley kicked 105 goals in 1985. They are the only Footscray players to 2010 who have kicked 100 goals in a season. Doug Wade kicked 127 goals in 1969 but the first Geelong played to achieve that feat was George Moloney with 109 in 1932. Michael Roach achieved this feat in 1980 with 112 goals but Jack Titus had already done this with 100 goals in 1940. Tony Lockett kicked 117 goals in 1987 but Bill Mohr kicked 101 goals in 1936. Tony was also the second Sydney Swans player to kick 100 goals after Warwick Capper kick 103 in 1987. Ted Whitten played 321 games with 360 goals.
