Talia appears very confused by the assignment and by the agreed time... she obviously figured out what Kosh actually meant, since she showed up on time.

Garibaldi explains that Deathwalker came from Minbari space, in a Minbari ship, in the clothes of the Minbari warrior caste, and with Minbari identification. She had with her the uniform of a Dilgar Warmaster with the name Jha'dur.

Answer: Na'Toth

Na'Toth explains that her grandfather was one of the Narns that Deathwalker used in her experimentations. Her grandfather managed to escape to his family. Before he died, Na'Toth's family swore a blood oath against Deathwalker.

Answer: Dilgar

The Dilgar are now a dead race, since they died when their sun went nova. No one was thought to have survived, but they were unaware that Deathwalker had already left for Minbar. The Dilgar had invaded many of the non-aligned worlds... it was only the intervention of Earth that saved them.

Talia notes that when ordered by Kosh to scan Abbut's mind he had no thoughts and that his mind seemed completely empty. Since Abbut is a Vicar and he had not recorded anything yet, his mind should be blank, but Talia would not be aware of this.

Warmaster Jha'dur is "the most infamous leader of the Dilgar invasion of the non-aligned sectors in 2230... Specialist in biochemical, biogenetic, and cyber-organic weaponry."

The Wind Swords are a Minbari warrior caste clan. They appear to have a lot of power and sway with the Grey Council. Also, the Wind Swords were responsible for trying to frame Sinclair for the assassination attempt on Kosh. This is hinted at by one of Jha'dur's lines to Sinclair: "They've sheltered me for many years, in return for certain services.

They speak of you often, Sinclair. They say you have a hole in your mind."

Answer: "Then the willow must sway carefully."

The actual phrase is: "Then the willow must scuttle carefully."

Answer: Ambassador Kalika

Ambassador Kalika is an Abbai, and has been chosen by the other ambassadors to speak for the League of Non-Aligned Worlds in this matter. Since the League only gets one vote on the council, they can have little influence on a Council decision unless the Big 5 are on their side.

Answer: 3 no, 2 yes, 1 abstain

G'Kar votes no (Narn wanted the concession that the trial be held on Narn), Lennier votes no (the Minbari were not involved, they have no right to decide her fate), Londo votes no (the Centauri were not involved). The League of Non-Aligned Worlds votes yes, Sinclair votes yes. Kosh abstains. Since the no's were in the majority, Deathwalker is free to to go and will not be held for trial for crimes committed during the Dilgar War.

Answer: Understanding

This is one of the most memorable Kosh lines as it is indicitive of the Vorlons as a whole. This phrase is explained in the episode "Into the Fire." The three sides are my side, your side, and the truth.

The League of Non-Aligned Worlds is upset over the outcome of the vote, so they send warships to Babylon 5 to destroy Deathwalker's ship. Ivanova will not have this, and says the above line to a Drazi Sunhawk. This stalls the ships, but it is pointless since the Vorlon emerge and destroy her ship anyways.

Deathwalker's immortality serum requires an ingredient from a living person. Therefore in order to extend the life of one person, another must be killed. Pleased that even if she were to die, her work would continue to the fullest, she says the above line.

Garibaldi says this after Kosh has blown up Deathwalker's ship. Sinclair replies: "They say God works in mysterious ways." and Garibaldi says: "Maybe so, but He's a con-man compared to the Vorlon."
