Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. On what ship does Franklin travel to Babylon 5?

Answer: Asimov

The Asimov is the transport ship that travels the route between Earth and Babylon 5. We see this ship in several different episodes as various people board or depart Babylon 5.
2. Who said the following quote: "This isn't a clear and present danger? I must read the rulebook again."

Answer: Ivanova

As the Soul Hunter ship approaches the station, it appears as a threat since it is of an unknown configuration, it is damaged and spinning out of control. Sinclair wants to keep the ship intact so they can learn about the race it belongs to, but it is heading straight for the station.

He tells Ivanova to only blow the ship up at the last possible minute, since according to him it is not a clear and present danger. Ivanova responds with the above line.
3. What race is particularly hostile to the Soul Hunters?

Answer: Minbari

Since the Minbari believe in reincarnation and the importance of the passing of the soul from one generation to the next, the Soul Hunters' practice of trapping and preserving the soul in containers is revolting to them. A Minbari will take any action to keep the Soul Hunters away from their dying.
4. True or False: The Soul Hunters can sense when a person is about to die and can track the person using that sense.

Answer: True, the soul hunters can both sense and track

Soul Hunters are able to sense when death is approaching (they knew that a great Minbari, Dukhat, was going to be killed at the first contact with Earth). They are able to locate the dying person so that they can be present when the soul passes, otherwise the soul is lost to them. Sinclair uses this ability to find Delenn, since she is slowly being killed by the Soul Hunter.
5. Who said the following quote: "I hate it when you get heroic. It cuts into my business. A man's gotta earn a living, you know?"

Answer: Garibaldi

Sinclair went to rescue Delenn from the Soul Hunter. Garibaldi, as chief of security, jokingly says that it's his responsibility and that Sinclair should stick to his own job of running the station.
6. Who conducted the dead gambler's funeral service?

Answer: Ivanova

Ivanova conducts the funeral, with Franklin in attendance. They have a great little conversation -- Franklin: "It's all so brief, isn't it? Typical human lifespan is almost a hundred years, but it's barely a second compared to what's out there. It wouldn't be so bad if life didn't take so long to figure out. Seems you just start to get it right and then...it's over." Ivanova: "Doesn't matter. If we lived two hundred years, we'd still be human. We'd still make the same mistakes." Franklin: "You're a pessimist." Ivanova: "I'm Russian, Doctor. We understand these things."
7. Whose soul has the Soul Hunter come to the station to steal?

Answer: Delenn

Since he had previously failed to save a great Minbari's soul, he was not going to let it happen again. He decided that to wait for Delenn's death would leave a larger opportunity for him to miss it, so he tries to kill her (slowly and with little pain thus better preserving her soul) and take her soul right away.
8. What does Sinclair ask the computer to reference at the end of the episode?

Answer: Satai

The Soul Hunter used this title when he referred to Delenn. Sinclair finds out that it is the title given to Minbari who are members of the Grey Council, their main ruling body.
9. What happened to the Soul Hunter's collection of souls?

Answer: The vessels are crushed, freeing the souls

The last scene of the episode is of Delenn crushing the vessels and letting the souls free. Sinclair does not tell the second Soul Hunter what happened to them. He merely says: "Life's full of mysteries. Consider this one of them."
10. True or False: The Soul Hunter was drawn to Babylon 5.

Answer: True

While talking with his collection of souls, the Soul Hunter says that he finally knows why he was drawn to Babylon 5. So although he was drawn there, he did not know why until he met Delenn.
