In Sam and Toby's first scene, they were going over a speech Sam wrote on pilgrims and Toby showed he did not like the content of the words. C.J. entered the room where they were and asked them if they had heard of the Jamestown Daughters of the American Revolution Preservation Society.

President Bartlet could not believe it so Josh stated the predictable responses from the communities, as the Christians would say to keep them, China would say to send them back, and the INS would claim the law is the law.
