Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the opening scene, who had on the television and saw a police chase?

Answer: Jack Shephard

The scene opened up, with a car chase, and Hurley was revealed to be the one driving the car the police were chasing. The next scene showed Jack turning on his television and watching the police chase. It was mentioned, on the TV, that they chased Hurley through the La Brea area of Los Angeles. Jack was shocked to see that it was Hurley who got chased by the police.

This scene was a flash forward and showed that Jack and Hurley would be part of the "Oceanic Six", the six people from the island who would live.
2. Right after the opening credits, Hurley was shown making a scene in what establishment?

Answer: Convenience store

Hugo was arrested and brought to the police station for questioning. At the station, an officer showed him footage of what they caught him doing at a convenience store. The officer noted it was interesting that Hugo was minding his business, one minute, and then threw a fit and destroyed the store another minute.

The officer assumed Hurley ran away since he saw someone at the store he did not like. Hurley assured him he did not run from anyone that he saw in the store.
3. In one scene, Hugo spoke to Jack, on a walkie talkie, and Hugo asked Jack if he got his people where?

Answer: Radio tower

Hurley was pleased that Jack and his men would be coming back to the beach in a short period of time.
4. Jack told which woman that he would kill Locke?

Answer: Kate Austen

Right after Jack got done talking to Hurley, on the walkie talkie, he went to see Kate. Kate told him she could not find John Locke since they were looking for him since Locke killed a woman. Kate asked Jack why Locke would kill a woman he did not know and Jack simply responded that it was because Locke was crazy. Jack informed Kate that, if he saw Locke, he would kill him.
5. Sun told who that she was glad she would have her baby in a hospital?

Answer: Claire Littleton

In Sun's first scene, in the episode, she spoke to Claire and told her she was so pleased she would be getting off the island and having her baby in a hospital. 6. Who told Danielle Rousseau to take Alex and get her as far away from the island as possible?

Answer: Ben Linus

Ben and Danielle spoke and they started to talk about a plan to get far from the island. Ben told Danielle to take their daughter, Alex, and get as far away as they could. 7. Who said he wanted to do a cannonball in the water?

Answer: Hugo "Hurley" Reyes

In one scene, Hugo was staring at the water, along the beach, and he talked to his friend. He told his friend that he had been staring at the beach, for so long, and he always wanted to do a cannonball. Hugo went ahead and did a cannonball in the water.
8. In a flash forward, Hugo was seen playing which game, with someone at the mental hospital?

Answer: Connect Four

Hugo had a flash forward of his institutionalization at a mental hospital in Santa Rosa, California. In a flash forward, he and another patient were playing Connect Four and a nurse came by to give Hurley his medication. She told Hurley he had a visitor and the visitor was an attorney for Oceanic Airlines.

The attorney told him they knew of his incarceration and his being in a mental hospital so he informed Hurley he and Oceanic Airlines would like to give Hurley an upgrade. The upgrade was to a better mental health facility but Hugo rejected the offer.
9. The Oceanic Airlines lawyer that Hugo saw at the mental hospital was real.

Answer: True

It turned out this attorney was real.
10. Hugo saw Charlie's ghost in this episode.

Answer: True

Near the end of the episode, Hugo was outside the mental hospital, painting, and some patient told him to watch for someone that was staring at Hugo. Hugo asked which guy and the patient pointed to Charlie. Hugo tried to run and Charlie told him not to run. Hugo said that, while he was institutionalized, he knew Charlie was dead and he would not have an imaginary conversation with him. Charlie was obviously not there since he died on the season three finale of "Lost."
