In this episode's 'flash-forwards', we learn that Sun is the sixth person of "The Oceanic Six". Throughout the episode it looks as if both Sun and Jin have made it off the island (which would make it 7 survivors) but it is finally revealed that Jin was appearing in 'flash-backs' not 'flash-forwards'.

Answer: Sun had an affair

After speaking with Faraday about the rescue, Sun becomes suspicious of him and the rescue plans. She goes to Jin, telling him to gather two days worth of food, and that they need to move to Locke's camp. When Juliet learns Sun is leaving, she tries continuously to change Sun's mind.

In a final attempt to get Sun to stay, as Sun and Jin get set to head over to Locke's camp, Juliet reveals to Jin that Sun had an affair with another man.

While Desmond and Sayid are locked in the medical cabin, the ship's doctor comes to tell them that the captain would like to speak with them. When brought up on deck to meet the captain, Desmond witnesses one of the shiphands (the same woman posted outside their cabin door), draped with heavy chains, jump overboard.

As Desmond and Sayid yell desperately for someone to throw a rope over and help her, the captain appears and orders everyone to get back to their posts. The captain heads over to them and introduces himself as Captain Gault.

During this episode we see characters such as Jack, Kate, Sayid, and Sun in present time on the island (with the exception of Sayid, who is on the ship), but we do not see Hurley until the end of the episode. Sometime after Sun gives birth, she is visited at home by Hurley. Hurley comes to see her new baby and then joins her in a visit to Jin's grave.

After being told of Sun's affair, by Juliet, Jin heads back to the beach. Sun goes after him, trying to explain herself, but Jin won't listen and heads off to go fishing. Just as he is leaving, Bernard approaches him and asks if he can join him fishing. As they are on the water fishing, Bernard has a 'heart to heart' conversation with Jin.

Once Sun has made up her mind to move to Locke's camp, she goes to Juliet's tent to find more of the prenatal vitamins she had gotten from Juliet in the past. Before she is able to find them, Juliet shows up and asks what she is doing in her tent. Sun tells Juliet she needs more of the vitamins, this is when Juliet questions her on why she needs more, since she should have at least 20 more left from last time.

After leaving the toy store the first time, Jin hails a cab and puts the stuffed panda in the cab. Distracted by a phone call, Jin hesitates getting in and ends up getting his phone knocked into the street by a pedestrian. While chasing after his phone, someone jumps in his cab and takes off, with his panda still inside.
Desperate to get another panda, he goes back to the store but the shop keeper tells him they are sold out of pandas and offers him a stuffed dragon instead.

Back on the ship, Desmond and Sayid are being given new quarters to stay in. The ship's doctor brings them to their new cabin but upon opening the door he sees that it was not cleaned (there are cockroaches running about and blood on the walls). The doctor calls down the hall to the man mopping and tells him to get the cabin cleaned.

The man is introduced to Desmond and Sayid as Kevin Johnson, who we see is actually Michael Dawson.

Answer: "I miss you so much!"

At the end of the episode, Sun and Hurley bring the baby to Jin's grave. Sun kneels at the grave and tells Jin about the baby, her delivery and how she named her Ji Yeon. Breaking into tears, Sun's final words (which she speaks twice) are "I miss you so much!".

In one 'flash-forward', Sun is in the hospital ready to have her baby. As the doctor is about to send her into an O.R., to perform a C-Section, the baby starts to crown. Sun delivers the baby there in the room and the doctor congratulates her on a new baby girl. Sun names the baby Ji Yeon, the name Jin wanted if the baby was a girl.
