Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode "Wine and Roses" begins with a flashforward. At whose mansion are the police seizing personal property including ties, a Cadillac and artwork?

Answer: Saul Goodman

As is typical with many of Vince Gilligan's work, the camera shots in the season six intro are up close and have long focus times. Dozens of people are at Saul Goodman's home seizing property like ties, clothing, trinkets, files and even a life-sized poster of him.

Interestingly, Kim's Zafiro Anejo tequila bottle stopper gets left behind. This same bottle stopper also appears in the show "Breaking Bad" of which "Better Call Saul" is a prequel.
2. What does Jimmy provide to Kim for her client to borrow for his day in court?

Answer: Sportscoat

Kim is talking to her first pro bono client that day and she asks him if he has something nice to wear. Jimmy overhears Kim's conversation and holds up a jacket offering for her to let her client borrow it. Kim tells him the first offering is too nice and then accepts the second jacket Jimmy shows her to have her client borrow for court.
3. Knowing there will be retribution, what do Juan Bolsa and Gus Fring refer to as the Salamanca way when faced with the bloody killing of a family member?

Answer: Sangre por sangre

Juan Bolsa calls Gus Fring and informs him that Lalo's home was broken into and everyone there was killed. Gus Fring comments that the Salamancas believe in 'sangre por sangre' (blood for blood) and that the cartels are on the verge of war and chaos. Juan Bolsa assumes that either the Colombians or Nacho are behind the attack on Lalo's home.
4. What name did Lalo use while in the United States and was brought to court under when he was arrested for the murder of Fred Whalen?

Answer: Jorge de Guzman

At the courthouse Jimmy finds the lead prosecutor, Gina Khalil, in the case against his client Jorge de Guzman. She accuses Jimmy of assisting his client in skipping bail but Jimmy tells her it's not his fault that with all of their resources they couldn't keep track of Lalo.

This is a huge blunder by Jimmy as Gina does not know that Jorge de Guzman is an alias being used by the drug lord Lalo.
5. What car that had its first model year in 1986 does Jimmy rent and drive to dinner to meet Kim after which she tells him that Saul Goodman needs something with more flair?

Answer: Ford Taurus

Of course the previous car that Jimmy/Saul owned was a 1998 Suzuki Esteem that was pushed into a ditch in the New Mexico desert. As the scene begins Jimmy is seen parking the brown Ford Taurus under a sign that read El Camino Dining Room. After their car talk, Kim delves right into their plan for how to bring down Howard to get the Sandpiper case settled.
6. Ignacio "Nacho" Varga runs to a motel and a key is provided to him by the attendant. Once in his room, he receives a call that instructs him to wait for what mode of transport in a few days time?

Answer: Farm truck

When Nacho enters his motel room there is an envelope on the bed that has cash and a gun. As Nacho's handler calls him he is informed that there will be a very narrow timeframe when a farm truck will pass through the area and Nacho will have to jump in. Nacho is instructed to lay low as there is a bounty on his head for the killings that took place at Lalo's house.
7. At a country club for what sport does Jimmy seek to be provided a tour so that he can plant something in Howard's locker?

Answer: Golf

Kim notices that Howard is on hole four of nine on his round of golf so she tells Jimmy that he has 45 minutes. Jimmy causes a scene with the members inside the clubhouse including the CEO of Mesa Verde Bank and Trust, Kevin Wachtell, who Kim used to work with. Eventually, Jimmy gets access to the locker room and finds out which locker number Howard is using.
8. What does Jimmy plant inside of a small bag in Howard's locker at the country club that falls out and is noticed by Cliff Main?

Answer: Baby powder

After Howard opens his locker and a small bag with a white substance falls out he tells Cliff that someone must have planted it inside of his locker. They both seem to assume that it is some kind of drug but as we learn when Jimmy gets back into Kim's car it is really just baby powder.
9. As he is about to head back into the United States Lalo decides to make a call to Hector Salamanca. Meaning 'proof', what does Hector spell out by ringing his bell when Lalo says certain letters?

Answer: Prueba

Lalo calls Hector to tell him that he is alive in spite of what he may have heard. Next, Lalo informs Hector that he is going to kill Gus Fring. Although he can't speak, Hector rings his bell and Hector spells out P-R-U-E-B-A (prueba) instructing Hector to find proof first.
10. At the close of the episode, what character shoots two men assisting migrants and then steals their truck?

Answer: Lalo

Initially, Lalo is going to get on the bus with the other migrants to cross the border into the USA. However, he changes his mind and tries to get his money back from the men facilitating the border crossing. After they decline he shoots them and steals their truck presumably to use it to drive into the USA.
