"Eight is Enough" - "Quarantine" Quiz

Nancy had a blind date, despite her having previously claimed that only losers went on blind dates. When she went downstairs to see her date, she found him wearing the exact same polo shirt as she wore.

Mary's TA (teaching assistant) had recently been to Africa. He came down with a fever and was admitted to the hospital. As Mary had been in contact with the TA, the Bradford family was quarantined until the health department found out what the TA had come down with. Mary claimed that her relationship with the TA was a 5 on a scale of 1-10, but could reach a nice 8.

Chris, Nancy's blind date, was in the house when the quarantine sign was placed on the family's front door. David was not in the house as he had his own apartment. And Abby had not yet been introduced to the series.

David showed up at the house, laundry in hand, when he saw the quarantine sign. Tom asked David to buy groceries for the family, but didn't have much cash on him at the time. Chris asked David to feed his dog. (However, curiously, never told David where he lived or his dog's name...) Joanie asked David to pick up the research notes her friend had left at the library.

Susan went through the grocery bags and got mad when she didn't see any yogurt. She claimed that she lived on yogurt. David also brought by some of Chris' laundry that he had found on Chris' clothesline.

However, when delivering the cot to Nicholas and Tommy's bedroom for Chris, Tommy and Joanie saw that the box actually contained some toys, such as slime and toy cars, Nicholas' friend had stolen from the drugstore.

Tommy and Joanie claimed they wouldn't tell their father, but tried to get the name of Nicholas' friend.

Susan then decided to train indoors and ran all through the house - jumping over people, going up and down the stairs...

When David asked why Nancy wanted liver, she claimed it was David's favorite. David replied that no one had told him, so how could he have known to buy liver?

Tom was upset because he could not get to work, but was working on his column in the study. Nicholas began to feel guilty after Chris, who wanted to be a lawyer, told him that an accessory to a crime could be charged the same as the person who committed the crime. After that, Nicholas decided to go to the drugstore to give back the stolen toys.

Elizabeth and Tommy definitely weren't talking. When Tom remarked on how quiet the house was, Mary told him it was because everyone was beyond warring and just wasn't speaking to one another. Tom then got scared because it was only day four and he didn't know how the family would last the three weeks.
