Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. A 'cripple fight' between Timmy and a new boy, Jimmy, begins when they both attend which of these?

Answer: A Mountain Scouts meeting

Occurring in the episode adequately-titled "Cripple Fight", Timmy strikes up a quick rivalry with the quick-witted Jimmy, who rises in prominence amongst the boys of South Park by performing comedy shorts. While the boys try to support their Mountain Scouts group, their fathers try to get Big Gay Al out as scoutmaster. What they don't realize is that his replacement is much more of a concern.

In the end, a major cripple fight breaks out next to a supermarket, and Timmy and Jimmy come to blows.
2. The Super Best Friends, led by Jesus Christ, are called into action when which entertainer forms a cult?

Answer: David Blaine

The boys become enamored with magician David Blaine when he makes a stop in South Park and soon come to appreciate the teachings of Blainetology, a cult disguised as learnings. While Stan realizes the issues at hand and backs out, the others become brainwashed and help to lead the march on Washington D.C. where the followers plan to drown themselves in the reflecting pool. Stan is able to contact Jesus Christ who, in turn, rallies the Super Best Friends.

They're able to construct a giant John Wilkes Booth to kill Blaine's animated Abraham Lincoln statue and the day is saved.
3. Cartman goes to great lengths to seek revenge against eighth-grader Scott Tenorman. Which of these bands, Scott's favourite, witnessed the humiliation first-hand?

Answer: Radiohead

When eighth-grader Scott Tenorman tricks Cartman into making a horrible purchase and refuses to renege on the deal, Cartman goes to great lengths to exact his revenge on his new sworn enemy. By the end of the episode, "Scott Tenorman Must Die" (considered one of the most famous of the show), Cartman has killed Tenorman's parents, cooked them into a chili and served them to Scott. Upon revealing the news, Radiohead (Scott's favourite band) shows up on Cartman's request and points out that the eighth-grader is a lame crybaby.

This, of course, comes back to haunt Cartman at a later date.
4. A feuding Terrance and Phillip are brought back together by the boys just in time for which of these holidays?

Answer: Earth Day

In "Terrance and Phillip: Behind the Blow", the boys discover that their comedy idols are split up with Terrance having gained a lot of weight and deciding to take the old comedy on the road and Phillip performing Shakespeare with a company in Toronto.

When an Earth Day Brainwashing Committee comes to South Park to set up a major event, the boys get embroiled in a ploy to get the Canadian jokesters back together, even if it means near-certain death for them (or maybe just Kenny). Ultimately, Terrance and Phillip can't stay apart despite their differences and Earth Day is saved.
5. After inheriting one million dollars, Cartman spends his entire windfall on which of these?

Answer: A theme park

In the episode "Cartmanland", Cartman's grandmother passes away and leaves him one million dollars which he promptly uses to buy a local theme park. His reasoning: he wants it all to himself and wants to remove lines by removing all the visitors. When he realizes the costs of running a theme park, he somehow manages to turn it into a thriving business, ultimately selling it off when it returns to the park he hated.

At the same time, Kyle begins ailing and nears death's door as Cartman continues his winning streak. Ultimately, the balance is restored; Cartman gets his comeuppance while Kyle has a miraculous recovery.
6. Who buys the boys an Okama Gamesphere (which is promptly stolen)?

Answer: Sharon Marsh

After the boys are able to blackmail Stan's mom into buying them an Okama Gamesphere, their eagerness to play soon eclipses all else. Soon, though, they're all pulled into an elaborate plot involving the military, an evil corporation controlled by an alien, the fate of the State of Colorado, and a sentient towel known as Towelie who enjoys smoking marijuana. Ultimately the boys get their game system back, but not before hijinks ensue.
7. Cartman ends up putting an offensive picture of Kenny in which of these locations, prompting a couple from Wisconsin to approach him?

Answer: Milk carton

When South Park Elementary has its annual picture day, Cartman convinces Kenny to put himself into his jacket backwards, projecting his rear end to the camera. This, of course, is hilarious to Cartman who, in a fit of brilliance, sends the photo to the local milk company claiming him to be a lost child. Well, a couple from Wisconsin with 'torsonic polarity syndrome' (TPS, which swaps peoples' faces with their posteriors) comes forward to find their missing son. Cartman loses the ability to laugh for a while, having allegedly blown a fuse, but the ability comes back when the missing son is revealed to be Ben Affleck.

This, of course, happens during the course of the episode "How to Eat with Your Butt".
8. Kyle's Jewish cousin, who visits during this season, has what uncanny name?

Answer: Kyle

Kyle's cousin, also named Kyle, lives with the family for a while, flying in from Connecticut while his mother is sick in the hospital. Kyle clearly doesn't fit in with the other kids and they spend a good amount of time trying to get him away from South Park altogether. Meanwhile, Mr. Garrison, fed up with post-9/11 airport security, creates a new mode of transportation to wipe out air travel. Naming it 'It', he's inspired by Enrique Iglesias' gyrations and makes it big.

The government, however, shuts him down. Cousin Kyle, who invested in 'It' before it failed, got a huge payout-- enough to return home to help his mother and leave the other boys in the dust.
9. Kenny dies, permanently, of which of these?

Answer: Muscular illness

Kenny is brought to the hospital in the episode "Kenny Dies" and the doctors believe he has a terminal muscular illness. At the same time, Cartman stumbles upon a few dozen fetuses on their way to a stem cell research laboratory. While the boys deal with their inner turmoils, Kenny does die. Permanently. Cartman ultimately uses the stem cells to replicate a Shakey's Pizza restaurant, much to the shock and disappointment of Kyle and Stan, who believed he had an ounce of empathy.
10. Who tries to drown Butters in a river?

Answer: His mother

In "Butters' Very Own Episode", Butters helps his parents prepare for their wedding anniversary, inadvertently revealing the fact that his father has been visiting a local bathhouse. This sets Mrs. Stotch over the edge and she plots to kill herself and Butters.

She nearly succeeds on both counts but doesn't realize that Butters never drowned; he tries to make it back home in time for dinner at Bennigan's. His parents, meanwhile, get involved with Gary Condit, O. J. Simpson, and John and Patricia Ramsey and everyone learns a lesson or two about telling lies.
