After Margaret left for her honeymoon Frank was given a leave only he was long overdue for his return. A sergeant in the Military Police called saying a drunk Frank accosted a blonde WAC kept calling her Margaret. The same MP called back saying Frank was on a bus sitting down next to a Red Cross lady and tried to bite her buttons off. The lady screamed and Frank jumped out the window. Later Frank managed to get to Tokyo where he saw a blonde and an officer walking and since he was drunk he mistook them for Margaret and Donald. He jumped in with the couple in a public bath and a brigadier general's wife screamed bloody murder. Frank was being held for psychiatric observation then was transferred out of 4077th for good.

After sending Radar to Seoul for some "fun" he got wounded. Hawkeye operated on him and felt so incredibly guilty he got very drunk. When a new batch of wounded arrived Hawkeye attempted to operate but had to leave in a hurry to throw up outside.

Firstly it was so cold and they were running out of light bulbs and reading materials. By chance BJ received a book "The Rooster Crowed at Midnight" by Abigail Porterfield. He shared chapters with the camp but the last chapter was missing. They all tried to guess who was the murderer but BJ had the idea of calling the author directly.

The nurse carry portion of the gala MASH Olympics was for the guys to carry nurses on their shoulders. Klinger was supposed to carry Margaret but he was so full of salamis he was dismissed by Potter. Margaret and BJ found a visiting Penobscott could replace Klinger in the Nurse Carry.

Charles is making a tape to send to his family in Boston. He tries to butter up Radar by getting him a case of Grape Nehi only for Radar not to help him. So Charles took back the case plus the bottle in Radar's hand. Throughout the episode Hawkeye was trying to leave for some R&R with a nurse. But by the time his time away was about to begin he was fast asleep in his bunk.

Then out of the blue the stolen $400 was returned in all new script so that $400 was donated to the orphans.

After a disastrous poker game in which Charles won Hawkeye, BJ, Potter, Radar, Klinger and Margaret noticed he whistled louder when he was bluffing.
