In Hollywood, California, the Bro House, a content house of four college(-or-a-bit-later)-aged social media personalities, turn out videos for massive amounts of viewers. Zinn, Wyatt, James, and Barry, make a point of creating care-free, crazy posts and uploads for likes and subscriptions, and the more outlandish they get, the more response they generate. Zinn is the 'Bad Boy', Wyatt is the 'Heartthrob', Barry is the '3.8 GPA', and James is the 'Pretty Boy'; all of them are influencers and they're all friends.

Their big fear, however, is that they're getting older. They need to keep living on the edge or they risk losing their fanbase.

Answer: Barry

With five days left before Christmas Day, the boys of Bro House focus their camera on a bridge over a Los Angeles Viaduct and, with their running commentary in the background, watch as a man climbs over the barricade in an attempt to jump. Though most of the boys are hesitant, Zinn realizes the opportunity they have. Having waited sixteen hours in tents in the viaduct, they finally have content. Zinn thinks it'll be a million subscribers, but when the man actually takes the leap, Barry realizes that what they've done could lead to serious backlash.

Barry continues to have regrets when he and the boys return home to host a massive Christmas party with their fans. Zinn, eager to keep their careers afloat despite their ages being an obvious hurdle, insists that people want to see what they've never seen before, and that means that posting the video will keep them going.

The boys go live during their party, debuting their new video only moments later...and it doesn't go as they planned. Though the boys chant "5 MILL", the crowd disperses almost immediately.

They realize the next day that they've created their worst nightmare.

The Bro House social channels lose fans quickly and the boys, reading through their most recent comments, find that some viewers are outright hostile. Barry notes that #thebrohouseisoverparty is trending on Twitter while a Change.org petition has been started in an effort to get their channel removed from the internet-- it's already at 400,000 signatures.

The family of the bridge jumper plans to speak at a press conference. Barry suggests they make an apology video, but Zinn refuses since it would be misconstrued as fake.

Instead, Zinn suggests that the boys of Bro House go 'homie-sexual', changing their brand to come across as more appealing to viewers-- they just need to pretend to be gay.

While the boys ponder their fate, they realize that the repo men have arrived to take many of their furnishings and installations, having opted to break ties with the once-popular content house. The people at Kraken Energy Drinks specifically take all of the promotional artworks and inflatables as well as the company Lamborghini.

It's for exactly this reason that the boys immediately get to work on changing their image, creating content that leans on homosexual to have an open and accepting take (that the girls are all about these days).

It comes across as much too forced and uncomfortable and, go figure, they lose even more subscribers.

Answer: The mall

As the boys face the looming prospect of losing the actual Bro House, they head out into Los Angeles with the aim to get back to their roots. With only a few days left until Christmas, they head to the mall and storm Santa's Village where they start by asking an elf attendant lewd questions and then launch into a full-scale prank against the mall Santa.

The crowd doesn't seem all too pleased with Bro House, especially when Zinn announces that Santa isn't real. Santa, knocking Zinn down, suggests that the boys will get the gifts the deserve before security arrives to chase them out of the building.

Christmas Eve night arrives and the boys, except for Barry, celebrate their return to their roots. When they launch the mall video they realize that not only did things get out of hand, but they didn't even realize what they did until it happened. Wyatt shows no remorse, suggesting that Barry might not be Bro House material, and Zinn tries very hard to keep them all together.

When the comments roll in, it appears that the public is even less inclined to tune in; backlash comes immediately. As the boys watch their follower numbers drop, Wyatt heads to the garage to get more beer and the phone begins to ring.

It's the cops.

The cops on the other line are from homicide and there's been an odd development in a new case that involves Bro House. The Santa that they pranked at the local mall may not have been the real deal; they've found that actual mall Santa's body in his home, murdered. The detective requests that the boys head to the station in the morning to make a statement. They'll also need a copy of the video; it'll help them finally identify the killer after a string of serial Santa murders.

In the garage, Wyatt heads to the fridge to find a camera taped inside. Lost in thought, he's unable to fight back as Santa grabs him by the head and snaps his neck.

While the boys watch the Santa video to get a good look at the supposed murderer's face, they realize that someone is uploading a new video to their account. It's the video from the garage, and while they watch they reason that Wyatt must be pranking them, it starts to get positive reactions from viewers. Barry deletes it anyways-- he thinks it's sick, even if it's the best-received video they've had in a week. Someone reposts it almost immediately.

Zinn heads to the garage to look for Wyatt but doesn't find anything waiting there. Heading outside, however, he finds Santa waiting for him. The fight doesn't last long. Zinn is beaten to the ground, tied up with Christmas lights, stuffed with mistletoe, and tossed into the pool to be electrocuted.

The power cuts as Santa enters Bro House. James grabs a knife while Barry looks at his phone-- another video has been uploaded and it's even better-received than the previous one.

The power only turns back on when James and Barry head for the front door. Rightly believing Wyatt and Zinn to be dead, they have no reason not to attempt escape, but when they head out to the car, Santa is waiting with a crossbow. He fires at James, pinning his hand to the hood of the vehicle before shooting him through the head. He plugs another arrow into Barry's leg, but the last surviving boy crawls back into the house. As Barry brings himself to a seat at the mantle, he removes the arrow and finds that his phone is dead. He heads to his computer to plea to the audience for help, but his messages fall on deaf ears. Behind him, Santa douses the chimney with gasoline and sparks a match...just as Bro House hits five million subscribers.

When the emergency vehicles pull up at sunrise, there's plenty to clean up. Inside Bro House, they find a Christmas tree adorned with body parts from all four of the victims.

The killer Santa, parked elswhere in the city, spies a new victim.
