Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of the team's main client in "The Tower Job"?

Answer: Isabella Navarro

Isabella is their primary client. Her father Mateo was killed in the collapse of the Lantern Building, which her father knew was unsafe. The building contractor used the fact that the Navarros were undocumented immigrants to deny them compensation and to avoid prosecution.

Isabella was played by Cecilia Leal. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School, Leal has been acting since 2018. She made her film debut in "Five Feet Apart" (2019). Her other television credits include "NCIS: New Orleans" (2019) and "Cloak & Dagger" (2019).
2. How many people died in the collapse of the Lantern Building?

Answer: 4

Isabella states several times that four people were killed, as does the news report the team watches. The four dead are mentioned several times throughout the episode.
3. What is the name of the corrupt contractor the team is targeting in "The Tower Job?"

Answer: Jason Crawley

Jason Crawley is a shoddy contractor who knew that the building that collapsed was made with substandard materials and cutting corners. Harry Wilson managed to keep Jason from going to prison with fancy lawyering. The Crawleys are worth "only" ten million dollars (that is small compared to some of the crooks the Leverage team has gone after) and are heavily leveraged financially after building a fancy new apartment tower.

Jason has some PTSD issues after he was almost killed in the building collapse. He is on tranquilizers and listening to meditation tapes. The team later exploits his anxieties to pull off the con. They set up rumble packs in the apartment and use a vertigo inducing device to throw off Jason's balance.

Andy Favreau played Jason Crawley. He has been acting since 2011 and his other television credits include "Aquarius" (2016) and "Champions" (2018).

Harry Retzing was a corrupt contractor in "The Snow Job" episode of the original "Leverage" (2009). Jake Phillips was a corrupt building contactor on "Monk."
4. Where did Krista attend graduate school for a year?

Answer: The Royal College of Art in London

Krista is Jason's high society wife, and is definitely Lady MacBeth in their relationship. She only mentions that she went to the Royal College of Art every other second, because she thinks it sounds impressive. It is a real educational institution, one of the most prestigious graduate art and design schools in the world.

Krista is not quite as dutiful wife as she seems, as she is having an affair with her chauffeur, Liam. She plans to divorce Jason once the development deal for Axios Towers clears, and clean him out in the divorce proceedings.

Christa was played by Kim Matula. Texas native Matula has been acting regularly since 2006. She is probably best known for her six year stint as Hope Logan on "The Bold and the Beautiful" (2010-2016). Her other TV credits include "Pink" (2008-09) and "LA to Vegas" (2018).
5. What is the name of the brand new building where most of the action in "The Tower Job" takes place?

Answer: Axios Tower

Breanna was able to get the blueprints of the building through the amazing step of simply asking for them. According to Eliot, the building is the safest structure in America. Mainly because the Crawleys plan on living there.

Axios is a twenty-storey building with state of the art systems, including fire systems. The other three choices are actual skyscrapers in New Orleans. The Place St Charles has 53 floors. The Benson Tower, built in 1989, is probably a closer match to the Axios building, with 26 floors.
6. Who gets to say the "Let's Go Steal" line in "The Tower Job"?

Answer: Harry

Harry says "Lets go steal a luxury development condo financier" and Parker informs him that he is saying the line wrong.

Their first steal is of a French bank executive. Harry and Sophie take her on a disastrous tour of the Axios building (carefully renovated by Eliott and Breanna), while Parker poses as the French banker for Jason and Christa.
7. Who do the Crawleys turn to when they need money quickly?

Answer: Christa's college roommate

Christa's roommate Sana Al Abadi is the daughter of a Saudi billionaire, Arif. The Crawleys hope to use them to solve their financial problems.

Sana was played by Nadiya Khan, and Arif was played by Kamran Shaihk. Khan had a few jobs as a teenager, but only began seriously acting in 2020. Playing Sana is her first big TV role. Shaikh began acting in 2018 and has a variety of TV roles under his belt.
8. What is the name of the street artist that Breanna is posing as?

Answer: SixDaze

According to Sophie, SixDaze is a leading voice in anarchist, Marxist, hyper-realist, post-modernist street art (which may be one of the best lies Sophie has ever delivered on the show). Breanna creates a social media presence for her artist persona and even paints some phony paintings to make the cover more authentic. Sophie claims that SixDaze has had exhibitions at The Tate Museum in London and the Pompidou Center in Paris.

Christa, with her pretensions of artistic savvy, decides that having a noted world famous artist living in their apartment complex would increase the cachet of the building (and hence the rents). After making costly renovations to the building, Sophie tells Crawley that the fictional artist is moving to Reykjavik, Iceland.
9. How does the team finally bring justice to the crooked building contractor?

Answer: Mateo's brother will testify against him

Parker broke into Crawley's safe (bypassing an iris scanner no less) but found no hard evidence linking him to the building collapse. Jason uses the fire escape chute on the roof to escape before Harry can get a confession out of him. And while Krista no doubt wants to rid herself of Jason, she is not ready to implicate herself in a criminal conspiracy.

Parker manages to con Jason into giving her his financial information, so they steal most of the Crawley's money. They use a recording of Jason with Christa to tank the deal with the Al Abadis.
The Leverage Team then plans to buy up the Axios Tower and donate it to a low income housing non-profit in New Orleans.

Mateo's brother was in the building the day of the collapse, and he heard Jason tell Mateo to ignore safety concerns in the building. The Crawleys threatened to deport him if he testified against them. Harry convinces him to testify and promises to protect him, which the lawyer probably can under immigration provisions that protect witnesses in criminal proceedings.
10. Which member of the "Leverage: Redemption" cast directed "The Tower Job"?

Answer: Noah Wyle

Noah Wyle directed the episode. While this was his first time directing an episode of "Leverage: Redemption" (2021), Wyle did direct five episodes of "The Librarians" between 2015 and 2018 and one episode of "Falling Skies" (2015). The actor also wrote two episodes of "The Librarians."

Beth Riesgraf has directed two short films, "A Standard Story" (2011) and "Mail Companion" (2020).
