Daryl goes along with the torture of Frost, demanding a location, possibly hoping the man will quickly end the torture by giving him a false one. It is not until Daryl cuts off his finger, however, that Frost tells him a location. Frost is played by Glenn Stanton.

In old houses, there was sometimes a slot in the medicine cabinet for disposing of used razor blades in the walls. But through this slot, Connie sees a pair of eyes staring back at her and realizes someone else is with them in the house. Being deaf and unable to speak, she carves the words "Not Alone" in a painting to tell Virgil.

Answer: A rug

Daryl, who has fallen in with the Reapers, notices a rug is slightly misplaced and realizes Maggie can be seen through a crack in the floorboards. He subtly repositions the rug with his boot and suggests to the Reapers that they do a perimeter check before Maggie and her people get away. This occurs in season 11, episode 6, "On the Inside."

Answer: Covers herself in walker blood and lets walkers inside the house

Despite the terror that has consumed her ever since emerging herself in Alpha's walker horde, Connie covers herself in guts and opens the door to let in the walkers. She pins Virgil to a wall behind herself so he won't be sensed, and the walkers enter and devour the humans who would have otherwise killed and eaten them. Virgil is played by Kevin Carroll.

Yumiko and the Princess are in the Commonwealth at the time, while Daryl has fallen in with the Reapers. Aaron and Judith are back at Alexandria. The search party, which consists of Connie's sister Kelly, Magna, Carol, and Rosita, arrives at the house where Connie and Virgil have holed up just as Connie emerges. Kelly then takes out two walkers with a sling shot.

Answer: Frost

Although Frost (whom Daryl was forced to torture to avoid blowing his cover) is still alive when Daryl goes on his mission with the Reapers, while they are gone, Pope, the leader of the Reapers, tortures him to death. When they return, Frost has transformed to a walker and is strapped to a tree. Frost made his first appearance in episode one of season eleven.

Hershel is Maggie's son and is home in Alexandria while these events unwind.

Answer: Carver

Brandon Carver, played by Alex Meraz, doesn't trust Daryl even though Pope has ordered him to be included on a recent mission to find Maggie. Carver was a soldier in Afghanistan, along with several other members of the Reapers, prior to the apocalypse. Elijah is a member of Maggie's group. Beta was a Whisperer. Merle was Daryl's brother who died in an earlier season.

Answer: To herd and lead walkers wearing a skin mask

Negan learned how to herd walkers during his time infiltrating the Whisperers. He helps Maggie to make a mask using walker skin and teaches her the correct way to move to lead walkers so that she can herd them to attack the Reapers and take back her community, Meridian. In return for his help, Negan asks that Maggie promise him that he won't have to keep looking over his shoulder.

Answer: He would have killed all of Rick's people

Negan tells Maggie that it was his duty to protect his people, and he failed. If he had to do it again, he would have killed all of Rick's people to keep them from killing his people. He points out that Rick's crew raided the Savior's satellite outpost and killed people in their sleep. Maggie replies they had no children, but Negan in turn points out that Gracie was taken from her Savior father, who was killed later in the war against the Saviors.

Answer: Daryl

Leah reports the discovery to Pope, who tells her to kill them all. Leah defies Pope's orders and tells the father and son to run. She then raises her rifle to shoot the injured woman, who thanks her because her husband and son refused to leave her side until she was dead, and she knew that put them in danger. Leah, emotionally overcome, hesitates to kill the woman. Daryl shoots the woman with a crossbow bolt to put her out of her misery and so Leah won't have to kill her.

Answer: Clear walkers from buildings

Ezekiel and Princess also have to clean walkers from buildings. This occurs in episode seven, "Promises Broken," which was written by Julia Ruchman and directed by Sharat Raju, who is well known for his documentary films about immigrant lives in Ameirca.

Answer: Governor Pamela Milton

Lance Hornsby set up the situation so Eugene could save Sebastian Milton and be a hero, but instead Sebastian is merely annoyed that Eugene has interrupted his date with his girlfriend. Eugene punches the sanctimonious young man and ends up in jail for assault. Sebastian is played by Teo Rapp-Olsson.

Answer: Leah

While Daryl draws his knives to attack Pope, it is Leah who kills him by stabbing him in the neck. She is upset he has begun to treat her "family" as indispensable and not protect their people. She then radios her fellow soldiers to tell them Daryl killed Pope, so she can continue to remain a part of her family. Though she is unwilling to side with Daryl and wishes to defend her family and maintain hold of Meridian, she does give Daryl just enough time to run.

Answer: Rosita

This occurs in episode eight, "For Blood." By killing several of the walkers, Rosita buys them some time before they can be overrun. This episode was written by Erik Mountain and originally aired on October 10, 2021 on AMC.

Answer: A hwacha

The hwacha was first developed in Korea in the 15th century and is a type of multiple rocket launcher that, in some designs, could fire up to two hundred rocket-powered arrows. Although Leah stops Pope from firing the weapon when he appears to not care whether it hits Reaper or enemy, once the Reapers are clear, she lights it herself.

The mid-season finale ends before the weapon launches.
