Abraham and Glenn are both beaten to death by Negan in the premier episode of season 7, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be."

Spencer Monroe attempts to ingratiate himself with Negan in order to be put in power in Alexandria. Negan, seeing the move as cowardly, reacts by gutting Spencer with a knife.

Sasha commits suicide to foil Negan's plans to use her to extort Alexandria. She emerges from the coffin he puts her in as a walker who attacks him.

Aaron's boyfriend Eric Raleigh does not die until season 8 of "The Walking Dead."

In season 7, Arat is a member of the Saviors. Jadis heads up the Scavengers, and Tamiel and Farron are two of the high-ranking members of the group. The audience later learns that the real name of Jadis is Anne. The character is not based on any in the comic book series on which the show is based.

Dwight does his mercy killing in episode 3, "The Cell." The Saviors visit Alexandria ahead of schedule in episode 4, "Service." Carl's failed attempt to kill Negan (he's restrained by Dwight) results in Negan giving him a tour of the Sanctuary in episode 7, "Sing Me a Song." Finally, Daryl escapes his imprisonment in episode 8, "Hearts Still Beating."

While Daryl is forced to wear a sweatshirt with the letter A, the meaning of which is never explained on the show itself, the letter is never branded on him with an iron. He's left in a cell where he is at one point stripped naked. He's forced to listen to the sang song, "Easy Street," over and over, loudly, on loop. Dwight brings him a dog food sandwich, which he hungrily devours.

He's also given a polaroid snapshot of Glenn's bashed in head. The photo intensifies his guilt for having stepped out of line, an event which inspired Negan to kill Glenn in addition to Abraham.

It is this photograph that finally brings Daryl to tears.

Answer: Dr. Emmett Carson, the Sanctuary's doctor

Sherry, Dwight's former wife and now one of Negan's wives, is the one who helps Daryl to escape prison. To protect her, Dwight frames Dr. Emmett Carson, whom Negan then kills in revenge by throwing him into the furnace. The Saviors replace Dr. Emmett Carson with his brother, Dr. Harlan Carson, whom they abduct from the Hilltop.

When Daryl escapes, Fat Joey sees him, holds up his hands, and pleas for his life, saying that he was just trying to get by at the Sanctuary. Daryl replies, "It ain't just about getting by here. It's about getting it all," and then precedes to beat Fat Joey to death.

Richard, a knight of the Kingdom and Ezekiel's right-hand man, tries to get Carol to convince Ezekiel to fight the Saviors. When she refuses to have anything to do with it, he hatches a plan to have the Saviors kill Carol. He will attack them and then lead them on a trail to her house, where they will discover a weapons cache he planted and kill her. Richard thinks that then Ezekiel, who is clearly fond of Carol, will rise to the bait and fight back. Richard's mistake, however, is to tell Daryl of his plan.

He knows Daryl hates the Saviors, but he has no idea how well Daryl knows Carol or how much he cares for her. Daryl beats Richard and warns him that if Carol comes to any harm at all, for any reason, he'll kill Richard.

In episode 13, "Bury Me Here," Richard decides to sacrifice himself to get Ezekiel to fight. He takes and hides a cantaloupe meant for delivery to the Saviors, knowing that if they are one cantaloupe short, the Saviors will kill one of them. He expects to be the man killed, thinking this will finally motivated Ezekiel to strike back.

When the Savior Jared aims his gun at Richard, he's prepared to take the shot, but instead Jared shifts his gun at the last minute and shoots the young knight Benjamin, who ends up bleeding to death.

When Morgan discovers that Richard has taken the missing cantaloupe and hidden it in the street, he strangles Richard to death. Richard gets his wish for war in the end, however. When Morgan finally tells Carol the truth about what happened to Glenn and Abraham, she joins the effort to fight the Saviors. Daryl had previously lied to her to protect her, saying everyone in Alexandria was fine.

He knew the truth would both hurt her and cause her to do something she didn't want to do - kill people again.

Answer: So Negan's wife Amber can commit suicide

Negan's wives Tanya and Frankie ask Eugene to help them help a deeply depressed Amber commit suicide. Eugene is reluctant, but agrees, and uses his clout to get the supplies he needs and make the pills. But when he realizes they plan to use the pills to kill Negan, he refuses to hand them over.

He then pledges his allegiance to the Saviors when Negan comes to see him, saying, "I am Negan."

Answer: The Scavengers double-cross Rick and reveal they've been working with Negan

Carol doesn't consent to stay in the Kingdom, as Ezekiel would like her to, but she does relocate to a little house just outside it in episode 2, "The Well." In episode 6, "Swear," after being separated from Heath at a bridge full of walkers, Tara washes up on the shore of Oceanside, where she promises never to tell of the community she's discovered if they let her go.

In episode 8, after the Saviors show up to extort Alexandria and Rosita tries, but fails, to shoot Negan with the single bullet Eugene has made her, the Saviors take Eugene hostage so that he'll make them bullets. Finally, in episode 16, "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life," the Scavengers turn on Rick's group in the battle with the Saviors.

However, the sudden arrival of Kingdom and Hilltop soldiers force the Saviors and Scavengers to retreat.

Rick and Michonne share their first kiss in season 6. Carol and Ezekiel don't develop a romantic relationship until sometime between season 8 and 9. Carol first kisses Daryl on the forehead in season 2, but as of season 10, they had not developed a romantic relationship. In episode 5 of season 7, "Go Getters," the teenage couple Carl and Enid shares their first kiss before Carl stows away onboard a truck traveling to the Sanctuary.
