Answer: a pointy stick

Missy used her vortex manipulator to escape from the Daleks, and brought Clara along either because she was hungry (cannibalism is a bit much, even for the Master) or she needed help fighting the Daleks. Missy was able to channel the energy from the Dalek death rays into the vortex manipulator and teleport out, making it appear as if she had been vaporized.

Missy managed to carve a pointy stick with some sort of blade, and she and Clara marched off to rescue the Doctor from the Daleks. Missy, being her usual self, refused to share her pointy stick with Clara.

Answer: Vampire monkeys

Missy said the Doctor transported himself into a nest of vampire monkeys. She did not explain how he got out of that predicament. To see the Doctor fight vampire fish creatures, see "The Vampires of Venice". Plamavores were seen in "Smith and Jones", the Tenth Doctor's first adventure with Martha Jones.

Answer: Through the sewers

They went through the sewers, which were filled with the rotting remains of essentially zombie Daleks. The zombie Daleks came in handy several times, as they attacked the healthier Daleks which were inside transport machines.

They could not use the vortex manipulator, as it was burned out during their escape from the Daleks.

Answer: Zapping random human beings with her disruptor

Missy does have a penchant for blasting random humans, but the only human around in "The Witch's Familiar" is Clara, and Missy finds Ms Owald useful. She does hang Clara upside down, pushes her into a hole, jams Clara into a Dalek suit of armor, sells Clara out to the Daleks, and attempts to get the Doctor to zap Clara. Poking Davros in his one good eye was just a bonus for the evil Time Lady.
Missy did zap people in both "Death in Heaven" and "The Magician's Apprentice."

Answer: Tea

The show is British, so naturally the Doctor was drinking tea.
Question: "How did he get the cup of tea?"
Answer: "I'm the Doctor, just accept it."

Answer: 42 minutes

The Doctor stated it had been 42 minutes that he had been talking with the Daleks. The Doctor had stolen Davros' life support machine, which was shielded against Dalek death rays - a wise precaution taken by the paranoid dictator.

However, this lengthy talk caused the Doctor to let down his guard, as it turned out the Colony Sarff, Davros' snake-like bodyguard, had been hiding inside the machine. Not too long after, the Doctor was once again a prisoner of Davros.

Answer: He was sick and Davros asked him to come

In another example of what Davros views as the Doctor's greatest weakness, his compassion, the Doctor agreed to see Davros because he was sick. The Doctor called himself "a bloke in a box who tells stories." But on a good day, if he tries very hard, he can be "The Doctor."

When Davros noted it was quite obvious he was dying and the Doctor could do nothing to cure the Kaled scientist, they had a laugh together when Davros said "It is obvious you are not a good doctor."

Answer: moron sewers

Davros had a brilliant plan to trap the Doctor and use his regeneration energy to create a new breed of Dalek-Time Lord hybrids. What Davros overlooked is that the energy was channeled to all the Daleks on the planet, including the Daleks in the sewers, who arose with an angry vengeance to attack the regular Daleks.

Answer: Mercy

It was the word "mercy", a concept that the Doctor believed was not part of the Daleks' vocabulary. Based on their history, Daleks have shown very little mercy in previous encounters with the Doctor (and any other life form for that matter).

It is the plea for mercy that holds the Doctor off long enough for Clara to reveal that she is inside the Dalek unit. The Doctor shows mercy again when he doesn't kill Missy for her attempt to trick him into killing Clara.

The Doctor displays mercy yet again when he goes back and rescues young Davros, while knowing what the future holds.

Answer: Sun glasses

The Doctor's newest cool piece of technology are his sun glasses, which made their first appearance during the "Rock God" scene in "The Magician's Apprentice." Apparently the Doctor places utility of sentiment, as he reclaimed the sunglasses from Davros even before he took back his Confession Dial.
