Question 2 of 10
2. The Plague's power has two different titles depending on the situation. It starts off as Vile Purge, but it can become Corrupt Purge later on in the game in a couple different ways. Assuming no particular add-ons are in play, what must the Plague interact with to acquire Corrupt Purge? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. There is a series of major differences between Vile and Corrupt Purge. Question 4 of 10
4. If you're a Survivor and you're not sure if the Plague has activated Corrupt Purge or not, the game has a very easy way of informing you. Even if you cannot see the Plague, this clear indicator will tell you when Corrupt Purge is in play.

What will happen when Corrupt Purge is in play so that even Survivors not in her area will be informed?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. The Plague's first perk in that regard helps give any Killer using it a nice head start, as it will block off the furthest four generators from the Killer's spawn point for a lengthy period of time, preventing Survivors from repairing them until the time elapses.

What perk is this?
Hint

Question 6 of 10

What add-on is this?
Hint

Question 9 of 10

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Plague became unique for becoming the first Killer without a 'blade wipe' animation. This was due to her odd choice for a basic attack melee weapon. What melee weapon is this?

Answer: Censer

While it isn't quite as bizarre as the incorrect options, a censer isn't what most would think of first when a conventional melee weapon comes to mind. It does seem to be quite heavy however, as the Plague's cooldown animation is spent lifting it back up to be at about chest level. It's also made of some kind of iron, so while unconventional, it does the job of a typical melee weapon.
2. The Plague's power has two different titles depending on the situation. It starts off as Vile Purge, but it can become Corrupt Purge later on in the game in a couple different ways. Assuming no particular add-ons are in play, what must the Plague interact with to acquire Corrupt Purge?

Answer: Corrupted Pools of Devotion

By default, one random Pool of Devotion will be automatically Corrupted. This can be turned into two pools with the Ashen Apple add-on. The Plague can interact with a corrupted pool to receive Corrupt Purge, making her extremely deadly for the next 60 seconds. Pools of Devotion become corrupted when Survivors infected by Vile Purge use a non-corrupted pool to cleanse themselves. An already corrupted pool cannot be used to cleanse with.
3. There is a series of major differences between Vile and Corrupt Purge. However, seeing as how Vile Purge is always available and Corrupt has some conditions attached to it, it would stand to reason that Corrupt is quite a bit more potent most of the time. Which of the following is something Corrupt Purge can do that Vile Purge cannot?

Answer: Down Survivors

Corrupt Purge can only damage Survivors, it cannot infect them. However, Corrupt Purge is a projectile which means it ignore pallets and other typical forms of defense, except for walls, completely. The Plague can down a Survivor very, very quickly using Corrupt Purge because of this.

Vile Purge can injure Survivors, but it alone cannot ever down them. It does, however, cause the Broken status effect once a Survivor has been fully infected. This means that if the Survivor team is resilient and opts not to cleanse, to give the Plague the opportunity at Corrupt Purge, she can still down them with a single basic attack.

Answer: A loud audio cue

A high pitched, brief but very distinguishable sound will play whenever the Plague obtains Corrupt Purge. This is your cue to get out of the way if she seems to be approaching you.

Answer: Corrupt Intervention

Corrupt Intervention is an amazing perk that is really never a bad pick for a perk on any build for any Killer. In particular, it is a godsend for Killers such as the Trapper or Shape, as they need time at the beginning of the game to set themselves up and build up momentum over the course of the game. Corrupt Intervention grants them the time they need to get set up and start their game off strong.

At Tier 3, it will block off the selected four generators for a whopping two whole minutes. That doesn't sound like much at first, but as "Dead by Daylight" is a game of inches, the two minutes can be the difference between flat out losing or winning a dominant game because you had enough time to get setup without losing gens in the process.
6. The Plague's second teachable perk, unlocked at level 35, causes any Survivors within the Killer's terror radius to scream whenever the Killer downs someone. What is it?

Answer: Infectious Fright

Infectious Fright is a good pick for Killers who employ slugging strategies, as they can down a Survivor and then immediately find another one to go harass. It's also a good idea for deterring flashlight saves, as the Killer will know where the angsty Survivor is and can either position themselves to evade the maneuver, or can go chase off whoever had their flashlight at the ready.

In particular, Infectious Fright is an amazing pick on The Oni and, fittingly, The Plague. Their respective powers at their peak are limited time, so being able to snowball a down or two they wouldn't have otherwise gotten can make a huge difference.
7. The Plague's level 40 teachable perk is an obsession based perk. Whenever the Killer using it strikes their obsession with a basic attack, they will transfer their Terror Radius to their obsession whilst losing their own, becoming Undetectable in the process. What is it?

Answer: Dark Devotion

Dark Devotion is a really funny pick, mostly on account of how rare and unexpected it is. Its potential is somewhat hampered by pre-made teams, who can use communications over voice chat to call the perk out and remove the element of surprise, hindering the perk. Even then, Undetectable has a good deal of utility even if it's not being used to snatch people off of generators.

Indoor maps, where the Killer's visibility is limited, can be used to help mask the Killer's approach, landing hits they likely would not have otherwise had. Dark Devotion also doesn't technically announce itself, meaning the team would need to be quite astute to be able to know to call it out.
8. If you're playing The Plague and are growing frustrated at how quickly generators fly by, you may feel inclined to use this ultra rare add-on. Be warned, however, as it will make her Corrupt Purge a lot less effective in exchange for making it easier to acquire. What add-on is this?

Answer: Iridescent Seal

Every time a generator is finished, the Plague will automatically receive Corrupt Purge with this add-on. The tradeoff is that Corrupt Purge now only lasts for thirty seconds rather than the typical sixty, and the Plague's movement speed with Corrupt Purge is slowed whenever she acquires Corrupt Purge.
9. If you're a Plague player and want to pressure Survivors to give you Corrupt Purge as much as possible, this ultra rare add-on can help. It will allow the Plague to see the auras of vomiting Survivors, wherever they may be. what add-on is this?

Answer: Black Incense

Survivors who are fully infected will vomit very, very frequently, meaning The Plague will pretty much always know where they are with this add-on. Once Survivors figure out she has this, they may feel pressured to cleanse and give her Corrupt Purge, as they will be one-hit downs whose presence is always known, which is really bad.

This makes this add-on an astounding pick for The Plague, as either way, The Plague has a much greater chance to succeed with it.
10. When not using her power, what is The Plague's base movement speed juxtaposed to the Survivors?

Answer: 115%

As the Plague may have to lean on her basic attack to get the majority of her downs against stubborn Survivors, it is good she can run them down as good as most Killers can.
