Grace's tone of voice is an angry one when she speaks to Gerde. It is strongly implied that Grace thinks that Gabriel is replacing her with Gerde in every facet of his life. Apparently Grace thinks that whoever is doing the research for the Schattenjager as his lifemate. Of course, given how little respect Grace seems to have for Gabriel, it's baffling why this would bother her even if it were true.

Answer: She steals it from Gerde's bedroom

Gerde doesn't give Grace the key because Gerde is the one who is used to doing the research for the Schattenjager (she did it for Wolfgang). Gerde barely knows Grace, and doesn't want her getting involved. However, Grace gave up her P.H.D. to help the man that she loves, and wasn't going to let someone prettier than her do the research. So Grace finds a secret passage in the closet in Gabriel's bedroom, and finds a pathway that leads to Gerde's bedroom. There she finds the Schattenjager key.

When Gerde finds Grace in the library, Grace yells at Gerde and insist that she will do the research. Gerde obliges, and walks away crying.

Grace is, at times, an incredibly mean human being. I don't enjoy playing as her.

Answer: When someone thinks he/she has turned into a werewolf

According to the werewolf textbook, most cases of supposedly werewolfry are actually victims of lycanthropic disorder. Lycanthropic disorder victims are not actual werewolves, but they are just as dangerous.

Answer: Old age

Werewolves constantly regenerate physical tissue and never age. If you want a werewolf dead, you have to kill it by destroying its heart, and brain, or depriving it of oxygen.

Answer: The full moon

All of the three wrong answers are things that get someone in this game or mentioned in this game turned into a werewolf. The full moon seems to have no effect on werewolves in this game.

Answer: Taste human blood

As long as a werewolf does not taste human blood, it is possible for that werewolf to become a non-werewolf. Once the werewolf tastes human blood, he will go to hell if he dies and nothing can redeem him. Even if the werewolf doesn't taste human blood, it cannot enter heaven and will be stuck on earth.

Answer: Companionship

Werewolves can live alone for many years, but their instinct gives them a strong desire for companionship. They like to bite humans and turn them into their Beta werewolves for companionship.

Answer: The human is a werewolf until he kills the alpha wolf

The alpha werewolf if the wolf who became a werewolf through a curse or by being the son or daughter of someone who was cursed. The humans that he bites are his beta werewolves. Those beta werewolves will remain werewolves until they destroy the alpha wolf. Even if a beta werewolf bites a human, the human must destroy the alpha wolf, not the one that bit him or her.

Von Ralick was captured by a Schattenjager and then thrown in the dungeon. Later, he was killed.

Like with the first "Gabriel Knight" game, in this "Gabriel Knight" game the first time you watch the prologue, it may not make much sense. However, it becomes clear is Grace is talking with the man at the Rathaus. It's the burning of the original black wolf. Also in the prologue are the black wolf's wife and son. His son is a younger version of one of the characters in the game.

Answer: Curse

Von Ralick abducted a young girl and raped her. He intended to release her, but she committed suicide. A gypsy cursed Von Ralick, saying that he should become what he actions showed him to be. So he became a black wolf. Von Ralick says he welcomes his punishment as long as it pays for his sins.

Answer: Smith

The Smiths are demonologists. They came to Schloss Ritter to meet the Schattenjager. They obviously don't meet him because he's out doing a case. The wife gets possessed, and then a spirit speaks to Grace through Mrs. Smith, telling her that someone close to her is in danger because of a black wolf.

Answer: Ludwig II

In the chapter 3 opening movie, Gabriel has a dream about Ludwig II. It seems Gabriel is connected to Ludwig II somehow. It's important to figure out how.
