Answer: Ascalon City

Ascalon City is the first major city in Ascalon, and following the Searing event, all of the green lands of Ascalon are transformed into a disgusting wasteland. By talking to Meghan, one can gain access to the Ascalon Arena, which existed in the pre-searing era as Ascalon Academy. From this city, one can complete and begin various quests as well as reach the first mission of the game.

Answer: Helm

Along with the Greaves, Pauldron, and Crest, players must also find Kilnn's Cuisse in the bonus portion of this mission. The main part of this mission involves traveling to the northern-most portion of the area to watch the oncoming army invade the area.

Then, you have to beat the clock to reach Captain Calhaan and warn him of the oncoming forces. After this mission you'll be placed in Fort Ranik.

Answer: No

Players can find Ambassador Zain in Old Ascalon. This NPC will give your character important starting quests involving the welfare of the Ascalons who are feeling the effects of the tragic circumstances in the area. Ambassador Zain also makes an appearance in the Krytan area known as Scoundrel's Rise. The Ambassador is a Level 15 Monk.

Answer: Camp Rankor

Camp Rankor is found in the Southern Shiverpeaks, which are a long way from the desolate wastelands of Ascalon. The three correct answers are scattered through the region. Piken Square is home to numerous quests and is only accessible if you navigate The Breach. Grendich Courthouse is on the north end of the Diessa Lowlands and Frontier Gate can be accessed after the second mission in the game. Frontier Gate also backs onto the Eastern Frontier.

Answer: Serenity Temple

In the north-north-west area of Pockmark Flats, you can navigate your way to the outpost known as Serenity Temple where you can find quests that relate to the eastern portion of Ascalon. If you happen to be a Mesmer, Monk, or Elementalist, then one of three NPCs in this town will grant you one or two quests. One of these takes your character to Sardelak Sanitarium, way back in Old Ascalon.

Answer: Fort Ranik

Though these three answers comprise the second, third, and fourth missions of "Prophecies", only Fort Ranik is the second if you follow in chronological order (by primary quest). Fort Ranik connects players to Regent Valley, and after completion of the mission, you can continue from Frontier Gate.

In this mission, players must defeat the enemy forces on the way to the Great Northern Wall. As a bonus, you must free Deeter Saberlin from a cage.

Answer: The Charr

Following a "Prophecies" character's training in Ascalon and a battle alongside Prince Rurik, they will be sent into the future to a time known as 'Post-Searing' where enemy Charr forces from the north have broken through the barriers of the Great Wall.

The Charr are a major enemy in this area of the game and will be fought in every mission in Ascalon. Devourers can also be found in Ascalon in great numbers. They'll probably be one of the first enemies that sneak up on you in Old Ascalon as well.

Answer: Dragon's Gullet

Players will only need to visit the Flame Temple Corridor in order to complete the Althea's Ashes quest from Piken Square, and really, there's no need for a player to visit Dragon's Gullet at all. Dragon's Gullet is a large area in the northern end of Ascalon and it's basically a dead end. Also, the area is filled with Hydras, which are fire-breathing, Meteor-casting dragons, as well as Abominations, which can summon corpses.

Players can head to The Breach by traveling through the northwest gate in Old Ascalon. The Breach connects players to the outpost of Piken Square as well as the southeast corner of Diessa Lowlands. The Breach is home to a large Charr army as well as a river of tar, which can be used to slow your character down (yay).

Many quests from Piken Square take your character into The Breach for experience and items.

Answer: Rin

Your character visits the destroyed capital city of Rin when he is sent to the Nolani Academy mission. You and Prince Rurik must save the Ascalonians from the invading Charr army once again, and at the end of the stage you visit Rin where Rurik announces that he will take refugees across the Northern Shiverpeaks to Kryta. That's the next stop on the Tyrian journey.
