Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of the main town in Kryta?

Answer: Lion's Arch

Lion's Arch isn't only a major center for players in Kryta, but it's the main port in Tyria, allowing people to travel between continents to and fro between the city. Here, players with the "Factions" and "Nightfall" campaigns will be able to accept missions taking them to their respective continents.

It is also allows players to continue the main quest after accepting and completing the first Krytan mission and crossing the Northern Shiverpeaks.
2. In the D'Alessio Seaboard quest, you must save Benji Malaka so that you can attempt the bonus task. In which village must you save Benji?

Answer: Hakewood

In the very beginning of this Krytan mission (the second, chronologically) you'll need to head to Hakewood to clear out the undead beings that are attacking the area. Benji will be attacked by 'boss'. Once you've saved Benji, you'll need to have one party member carry an offering to the Shrine of Melandru. Along the way though, you'll need to fight off the near-endless onslaught of evil beings that are tormenting Confessor Dorian.

In the end of this mission, you must obtain the Scepter of Orr.
3. The outpost Beetletun is bordered by Watchtower Coast and which other explorable area?

Answer: Nebo Terrace

Beetletun is the northern-most outpost in Kryta and it oddly contains a weapon and armor trader that may be useful in the nearby mission area. Watchtower Coast and Nebo Terrace contain enemies ranging from levels 15-18, and Beetletun is smack dab in the middle. Bergen Hot Spring, another outpost, can be found to the southeast corner of Nebo Terrace, and it will be the last one on your journey west until you reach Temple of Ages, three explorable areas away.
4. Gates of Kryta is connected to only one explorable area. Which of these is it?

Answer: Scoundrel's Rise

Scoundrel's Rise will be the first explorable area accessed in Kryta in the Tyrian campaign. It will give players a first look at the undead and fiendish creatures of the swampy areas yet to come. Gates of Kryta is the first mission of Kryta, and it involves traveling with Justicar Hablion to clear the swamp and reach Lion's Arch. The bonus mission involves the translating of a book.
5. The Tengu are recurring enemies in "Guild Wars". Which Tengu species is found in Kryta?

Answer: Caromi

Tengu only tend to appear in Tyria and Cantha. The first species of these, the Caromi Tengu, are only found in Kryta, while Avicara Tengu are in the Southern Shiverpeaks. Sensali and Star Tengu are only found in Cantha. The Tengu of Kryta tend to be in both the wilderness and missions and they range in level from 15-20. Along with Mergoyles, they are extremely common in the area.
6. What is the fifth and final mission completed in Kryta?

Answer: Sanctum Cay

Found in the deep-south of the Krytan province, Sanctum Cay will take you through the last portion of the bay in order to oppose the White Mantle and uncover more deception. You will need to take the Scepter of Orr, first found in the D'Alessio Seaboard mission and bring it to Vizier Khilbron as he prepares a boat for your departure. You'll be heading to the Crystal Desert after finishing this mission.
7. What is the name of the group that opposes the White Mantle?

Answer: Shining Blade

The White Mantle is a prominent group of characters in Kryta, though their mysterious secrets aren't revealed until the player passes through Maguuma Jungle to the west. As for the first crossing of Kryta, from east to west, the player will gain knowledge of the White Mantle and assist them in two of the five Kryta missions.

The Shining Blade will not have such a significant role yet, but come the last two Krytan missions, you'll be siding with them.
8. What is the only Krytan outpost, town, or mission, to allow a maximum party size of eight members?

Answer: Temple of Ages

The Temple of Ages is directly in the middle of Kryta and it's surrounded by poisonous swamps and deadly creatures. What makes this outpost such a popular spot is the fact that players can access The Underworld once they've completed their campaign. This must be done when the Favor of the Gods is on your region (whether it be Europe, North America, etc.).

This is the only location in Tyria to allow entry (and it's at a price of one platinum per party member) although players can still access this area from Cantha and Elona.
9. In the Divinity Coast mission, how many villagers must be chosen?

Answer: Five

During this final mission during your first crossing of Kryta, you will need to head to the village of Shaemoor on the northern coast in order to bathe in the Fountain of Truth and cleanse yourself. In doing this, you will be able to transport the Eye of Janthir and collect the five 'chosen' villagers to complete the bonus of the mission.

This bonus will be given by Justicar Hablion and completed by Lionguard Minah. After this mission, the Chosen will be led to the jungle by the White Mantle Knights, and then kidnapped by the Shining Blade.
10. Which location acts as the starting point in Tyria for players who have arrived from other continents for the first time?

Answer: Lion's Gate

Lion's Gate is a small area directly attached to the eastern end of Lion's Arch, and when you arrive from Cantha or Elona (or you are going to Elona for the first time as a "Prophecies" character), you will be in this area. There are no quests to be found in this area, yet few quests can be completed here. You can access it by talking to Lionguard Bedo in Lion's Arch.
