1. Sarah Sjostrom (SWE)

Sarah Sjöström, born in Salem SWE in 1993, won her first Olympic gold medal in the 100m butterfly at Rio 2016, setting a world record in the process. She is also a multiple world champion, holding world records in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and 100m butterfly.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she competed in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and 100m butterfly. She won gold in the 50m freestyle, beating Katarzyna Wasick of Poland and Gretchen Walsh of the USA, and gold in the 100m freestyle, beating Torri Huske of the USA and Siobhán Haughey of Hong Kong.
2. Viktor Axelsen (DEN)

Viktor Axelsen, born in Odense in 1994, is a Danish badminton player. He won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, becoming the first non-Asian player to win Olympic gold in men's singles badminton since 1996. He was World Champion in 2017 and 2022 and a consistent top performer on the BWF World Tour, securing multiple titles and maintaining a longstanding presence at the top of the world rankings. He has won every major title in both team and individual events (World Tour Super 1000 level or above) at least once, the only exception being the Sudirman Cup, where his team took bronze in 2013.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, he defended his Olympic title in the men's singles badminton without dropping a single set in the tournament. He won the gold medal match 21-11, 21-11 against then world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand.
3. Markus Rooth (NOR)

Markus Rooth, born in Oslo in 2001, is a Norwegian decathlete. He emerged as a promising talent in multi-event athletics with a bronze medal at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn. He went on to win gold at the same championships two years later.

He competed in the men's decathlon at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He set personal bests in five of the ten disciplines. A new personal best overall score of 8,796 points secured him the gold medal. Silver went to Leo Neugebauer of Germany and bronze to Lindon Victor of Grenada.
4. Truls Moregardh (SWE)

Truls Möregardh, born in Lessebo in 2002, is a Swedish table tennis player. He gained international recognition when he won the silver medal at the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships in Houston, becoming the first Swedish male player to reach the world finals since 1997.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, he competed in the men's singles and team events. In the singles, he defeated China's world number one Wang Chuqin in the second round and then went all the way to the final. There he lost by 4-1 sets vs. Fan Zhendong of China. In the team event he secured another silver medal after a 3-0 defeat against China in the final.
5. Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (DEN)

Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, born in Hvalsø in 1992, is a Danish equestrian. She won several medals at the European Championships and achieved high rankings in FEI World Cup competitions. She represented Denmark at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where she helped Denmark to fourth place in the team dressage competition; and finished fourth individually.

Paris 2024 Olympic Games - riding her trusty horse Freestyle, she put in a strong performance and contributed to Denmark's silver medal in the team competition. Gold went to Germany, bronze to the British team. In the individual competition, she placed 5th.
6. Solfrid Koanda (NOR)

Solfrid Koanda was born in 1998 in Oulu, Finland, to a Finnish mother and Ivorian father. She is a weightlifter who competed for Norway after her family moved to Norway when she was nine years old. She initially started in the 87 kg category and became the first Norwegian weightlifter to become world and European champion in this event. She won the European title in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and the World title in 2022.

She competed in the women's 81 kg at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. She lifted 121 kg in the snatch and 154 kg in the clean and jerk. Her total of 275 kg was a new Olympic record and secured her the gold medal, making her Norway's first-ever Olympic weightlifting medallist.
7. Jenny Rissveds (SWE)

Jenny Rissveds, born in Falun in 1994, is a Swedish mountain bike racer. She won the gold medal in the women's cross-country mountain bike event at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, becoming Sweden's first Olympic champion in the discipline. She was also successful in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, with several podium finishes.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she finished third in the women's mountain bike cross-country event, 3:02 minutes behind winner Pauline Ferrand-Prévot of France.

The silver medal went to Haley Batten (USA).
8. Emma Jorgensen (DEN)

Emma Jörgensen, born in Bagsværd in 1996, is a Danish canoe sprinter. She has won multiple medals at the World and European Championships. She competed at both the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where she won a silver medal in the K-1 500 metres, and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where she added two bronze medals in the K-1 200 metres and K-1 500 metres.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she competed in the K-1 500m and K-2 500m canoe sprint events. In the K-1 she won the bronze medal behind New Zealand's Lisa Carrington and Hungary's Tamara Csipes. In the K-2 she and her partner Frederikke Hauge Matthiesen lost in the quarter-finals.
9. Line Flem Host (NOR)

Line Flem Höst, born in Oslo in 1995, is a Norwegian sailor competing in the ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) class. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 ILCA World Championships in Melbourne. She represented Norway at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where she finished in the top 10.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she competed in the ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) sailing event in Marseille. After nine races and one medal race, she finished third behind Marit Bouwmeester from the Netherlands and Anne-Marie Rindom from Denmark.
10. Victor Lindgren (SWE)

Victor Lindgren, born in Sjöbo in 2003, is a Swedish shooter. He won gold at the 2023 World Championships in Baku. In 2024 he won several medals at the World and European Junior Championships. At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, he reached the finals in the 10m air rifle and won the silver medal behind China's Sheng Lihao, who took gold with a new Olympic record.

The bronze went to Miran Marièiæ of Croatia.
