Itt has a little guillotine that he puts his hand through while telling a joke. Of course, we don't understand what he says, but Morticia said the last line was "And Marie Antoinette said 'Operator, I've been cut off.'" Next, he had an empty wooden box that he put Uncle Fester's head into.

Gomez said Itt was too short to be an actor and Morticia said he was too tall to be a producer. Then Morticia noticed the vampire bats playing, which made Gomez remark about how well Cousin Itt got along with bats and baby rattlers. It got him thinking that Commissioner Fiske mentioned needing a curator for the zoo - would he hire Cousin Itt for the job?

Lurch opened the front door for the men and just shook his head. He probably was used to so many odd things happening at the house that he didn't think anything was amiss.

Cousin Itt was chattering away while the men took him. Commissioner Fiske was under the impression that Itt was for an exhibit because Gomez had locked Itt in the attic to prevent him from leaving town before speaking with Commissioner Fiske.

When Gomez and Morticia asked Lurch to call Cousin Itt down to share a drink, Lurch just said Cousin Itt left with the men from the zoo and that he was "quite tied up" when he left.

Uncle Fester even saw the zoo employees bring Cousin Itt his lunch: a bunch of bananas. But Uncle Fester heard on the radio in the car coming back an animal had escaped from the zoo and was last sighted in the Addamses' neighborhood!

Gomez was shot through his hat. So he called everyone together and read the rules (again). "Shooting will be confined to the escaped beast only. Not at just anything that moves." Then he looked at Uncle Fester and Morticia to see who shot at Gomez and realized it was Uncle Fester - his gun was still smoking. Gomez took Uncle Fester's gun away and had him go on inspection instead.

Cousin Itt has come to the house, totally unaware there is an escaped beast from the zoo. Or that Cousin Itt is the escaped beast from the zoo... The Addamses turn on the radio and the latest report is the escaped beast was seen entering their home!

Itt only came back to the house for his military hairbrushes. Gomez apologized and said he would write another check once he remembered what bank his money was in.

In the final scene, Gomez and Morticia are having breakfast when the an announcement breaks over the radio alerting everyone that a creature has broken out of the zoo (again) and last seen heading for the Greenbrier Woodlawn area. Lurch asks if he should bolt the windows and doors, but Gomez says no - it might be another relative.
