Answer: Pugsley is wearing a Boy Scout uniform

Everyone goes and looks into Pugsley's room - he's wearing the uniform. Morticia refuses to let Wednesday look and see. Uncle Fester says this is Gomez and Morticia's fault for spoiling Pugsley.

Gomez and Morticia are increasingly worried about Pugsley - she can't stop worrying about him at bedtime and Gomez doesn't have as much fun blowing up trains without him. When they're eating lunch, he just runs by and poor Aristotle, Pugsley's octopus, is just hanging on the tank, ignored. Gomez says Aristotle looks pale around the tentacles and Uncle Fester says Aristotle has sad eyes.

Answer: Play with a puppy

Morticia hoped he was going off to a mineshaft because the dankness 'did things for him.' But she found him playing with a puppy in the garden. Morticia was horrified and couldn't even say the word puppy! Gomez called for Lurch to get Pugsley and send him to his room. Morticia sent Uncle Fester to his room when he suggested they could all learn to love the p-u-p-p-y.

Answer: 10

In the previous episode ("The Addams Family Goes to School"), we are told Pugsley is 8. But here, Gomez talks to Pugsley and says how he was once Pugsley's age. Pugsley responds with "It is a little hard to think of you at 10." Gomez then reveals he once stood in front of a department store window display of camping gear and wondered what would have happened had he tied that first knot... while tying a perfect noose into the string of Pugsley's window shade.

Answer: Read him something soothing at bedtime

Morticia reads "The Raven" from Edgar Allen Poe at bed that night while the puppy laid next to him. Apparently it was one of his favorites because it made him feel cozy. But tonight it didn't work because he had too much on his mind. When Moriticia went to retrieve his alligator from his closet she found something horrible: a baseball glove.

Answer: Call a psychiatrist

They decided to choose Dr. Black because the name sounded friendly. He took one look at Morticia and thought she was the problem. But he was relieved when he found out the problem was their child. Dr. Black apparently had problems with his own children and could empathize.

Answer: Clothes

When Dr. Black heard that clothes were a problem, he thought they were complaining he was wearing beatnik clothes - but Gomez said that wouldn't be a problem.

Gomez brought up Pugsley was attached to a strange creature, which Dr. Black thought Gomez was referring to a girl that Pugsley was seeing.

Dr. Black told them to cater to Pugsley's behavior and promised he would be back to normal in a few days.

Answer: water tower

The scene begins with Lurch coming in with a tennis racket and roller skates, presumably items he found in Pugsley's room.

Uncle Fester then brought Pugsley into the room because he caught Pugsley helping a little old lady across the street... and is mad when Gomez refuses to punish Pugsley.

Gomez tries bonding with Pugsley by putting on Pugsley's Boy Scout hat and telling him of the special treat: there's dynamite underneath the bridge AND water tower. But Pugsley's heart just isn't in it today. And when Gomez pushes the plunger, it just fizzles anyway.

Gomez and Morticia feel like they've failed again.

Answer: He sees the Addams family's items and thinks they were Pugsley's

Dr. Black comes into the house and sees the normal items the Addams family keeps in their house and thinks that is what Pugsley has been bringing into the house because Dr. Black told Gomez and Morticia to cater to Pugsley's wishes. But Gomez and Morticia were actually pointing out the camping gear and other 'normal' items that Pugsley had brought into the house, not the items Dr. Black had been drawn to when he entered the home. Dr. Black then decides Pugsley has been over catered to when he sees Uncle Fester bringing dynamite up to Pugsley and goes upstairs to Pugsley's room.

It's the room with the baby vultures on it.

Answer: the turtle

Dr. Black somehow released Pugsley's 'inner antagonism' and Pugsley was back to normal! But Dr. Black ended up quitting and going back to school, so Gomez and Morticia decided a gift was in order for bringing Pugsley back. Gomez wanted to send the two-headed turtle, but Morticia wanted to send something better than that. (Although we never found out exactly what was better than the turtle!)
