Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This series saw more Traitors in the game than the preceding ones.

Answer: True

While both the first two UK series of the program featured twenty-two contestants, this one upped the game by introducing twenty-five players off the jump, having them meet each other on and off before they even reached the castle at which they would be competing for up to £120,000 in the prize pool.

This season saw ages ranging from 20-years-old to 70; it saw people from all walks of life, and from all around Britain. It also featured two siblings, one of whom inadvertently ended up selected to be a Traitor. And, of course, there were twists and turns right out the gate.
2. Who of these did not voluntarily leave the train on Day 1 as part of the first Mission?

Answer: Yin

As the contestants boarded the train and headed off into the Scottish Highlands, they got to know each other and make introductions. Partway along the route, however, the train was brought to a screeching stop and Claudia came onto the speakers to award the gang £10,000 to start their prize pot.

The catch was that one person from each carriage needed to remove themselves from the train before the game could truly begin. If they couldn't decide, money would be deducted; they had ten minutes and £1,000 would be removed every minute. Fozia, Jack, and Alexander elected to get off the train, allowing £7,000 to go into the prize pot while they were left behind.
3. The first formal Mission of the game, involving collecting gunpowder, allowed the players to skip which of these for a night?

Answer: The Murder

When Claudia brought the players out for their first formal Mission she warned them that they were in for a big bang. Splitting into teams, the players had to run through the woods collecting cash by answering numerically answered questions and collecting chests. Additional crates hidden outside contained gunpowder, and if they could collect 500 kilograms of it, dumping it into a barrel, they could blow up a colossal Traitor statue and prevent that night's murder.

They succeeded and this and banked an additional £6,000.
4. The fourth Mission allowed the players to bring new people into the game. How many, of those offered up, were able to join the Faithfuls?

Answer: Two

Fozia, Jack, and Alexander's day one sacrifice kept the three of them out of the game until Day 4 when they were brought into the woods to become pawns in the Traitors' game. For this Mission, the remaining players were brought into the trees to find the trio hanging in cages. To complete this Mission they had to collect £50 gold coins from bags in the forest and place them in containers to lower the respective prisoners' cages.

The two who were lowered in full would be returned to the game and they would be able to give away a Shield each.

The players brought back Fozia and Alexander, both of whom entered the game as Faithfuls, while Jack remained eliminated.
5. The Traitors made a single attempt to Seduce another player into joining them. Who did they send this invitation to?

Answer: Anna

After Armani's banishment as a Traitor at the third Round Table, the remaining Traitors had few options before them. Though they chose to Murder the next opportunity they could (Armani's sister, Maia), they chose to implement their option to Seduce a Faithful on the subsequent visit to the tower, recruiting them to the fold and increasing their numbers.

They elected to send a letter to Anna, who refused the option, leaving only two Traitors still in the game. The Traitors wouldn't repeat the attempt for the remainder of the game.
6. In order to force players to compete in the 'death match', the Traitors had to identify them by writing their names down, but where?

Answer: On a painting

After dan's banishment, Minah and Linda received letters informing them that there would be no meeting in the Traitor's Tower that night. Instead, they would need to be covert, selecting four players in plain sight to play a deadly game where the losing Traitor would be killed face-to-face. Using a peacock quill pen in the library, one of the Traitors needed to write the names of the four players on the painting in the bar (Linda wrote Leon, Alexander, Fozia, and Anna).

The four of them joined in a late-night 'death match' wherein Anna, Alexander, and Leon managed to survive and become pawns in the next Mission. Fozia was left behind to be Murdered.
7. How many players became Traitors as a result of Ultimatums?

Answer: Two

As per the rules of the game, when only one Traitor remains in the competition before the latest stages of the competition, that person is required to offer one of their fellow players an Ultimatum, forcing them to attend a private meeting wherein the Faithful is presented with an option of becoming a Traitor or being Murdered.

This happened twice this series, with both opting to continue playing. Minah gave the Ultimatum to Charlotte after Linda's Banishment; Charlotte gave it to Freddie after Minah was sent home.
8. At any time in this competition, was a player able to use a Shield to successfully block a Murder attempt?

Answer: Yes

Funnily enough, it was used successfully because a Traitor intentionally aimed for it. Immediately after offering the Ultimatum to Freddie, Charlotte convinced him that they needed to target Leanne, who had previously indicated to Charlotte that she'd received the Shield in the preceding Mission.

As a result, Leanne managed to survive the night and arrive at breakfast, and it forced Freddie to get caught in his own lies. He would get Banished at the next Round Table, lasting a single day as a Traitor.
9. Which player received the power to become the Seer?

Answer: Francesca

In the penultimate Mission, the final six players were told that they would be banking up to £12,000 on the back of three short games, each themed around past Missions. The catch was that the single player who banked the most coins would also gain the power of the Seer, who would be allowed to meet with a single player and, in a face-to-face meeting, be told their true identity as Traitor or Faithful. The identity of the Seer would only be revealed after the Round Table that evening.

With help from Alexander, it was Francesca who won the Seer prize, and she elected to speak to Charlotte that night, determining (to her shock) that her closest ally was actually a Traitor. What resulted was a contentious final day in the castle.
10. How many Faithful players split the prize in the end?

Answer: Two

With no traitors remaining in the Endgame, Claudia had the remaining four Faithfuls head out to the fire to determine their fate (with none of them knowing that they'd won the prize pool of £94,600 to split between them). Due to the new rule in which no one's identity was revealed in the final day of the competition, the Faithfuls elected to keep Banishing until they felt safe enough to pull the trigger.

It meant that Alexander and Francesca were both sent home without the money, leaving Leanne and Jake to share the winnings as the sole remaining Faithfuls.
