Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many Traitors are selected at the start of the season?

Answer: Three

At the start of the show, host Alan Cumming brings the twenty contestants into his Scottish estate and seats them at the Round Table. After the players are blindfolded, he taps three of them on the shoulders to indicate that they will be the Traitors; all of the rest will be the Faithful, and it will be their aim to catch out the problematic few.

By the end of the first day, Cirie, Christian, and Cody meet in the Traitor Turret and discover each others' identities. And every night going forward, they select one person to eliminate to cover their trail, effectively 'murdering' them.
2. When a contestant is 'murdered', the others find out at which of these events?

Answer: Breakfast

As the contestants discover on the morning of the second day, they all need to head to breakfast to find out the fate of the other players. They wake up on this first instance to find Reza gone, leaving nineteen in the competition. In these instances, the 'murdered' candidate is unceremoniously removed from the game upon receipt of a letter indicating their elected removal.

In the midst of this, all contestants are brought to the Round Table at the end of every day to eliminate one more person-- ideally a Traitor-- at the Round Table. Upon being 'banished', the contestant indicates if they were, in fact, Faithful or Traitor, to help the group understand the gravity of their situation. On Day 2, the collective banishes Geraldine from the game despite her being a Faithful.
3. At the banishing ceremony on Day 3, who drops a note containing a list of names?

Answer: Kate

After Bam is murdered by the Traitors solely to sow confusion, everyone finds that the approach works. Kate and Brandi start a campaign against Michael on Day 3 and the pair decide to lay out their suspicions in a note. Said note comes back in a big way later when the group votes out Brandi, revealing her as a Faithful. Upon leaving this Round Table, Kate accidentally drops the paper and it's found by Stephenie, raising suspicions from everyone the note comes into contact with.

She ends up telling Cirie first, not knowing that Cirie is a Traitor, and it becomes one of the main topics going into Day 4.
4. During the Carnival of Chaos, the players answered questions under which of these circumstances?

Answer: Strapped to a giant wheel

With knowledge of the note, the Traitors elect to murder Azra, attempting to frame Kyle instead and sow more chaos. It works to an extent, playing out over several days. While the group mulls over 'note-gate', they embark on more missions to get to know each other, aim their target on the already-suspicious Michael, and cast more guilt onto an increasingly less-motivated Kate.

By the end of Day 5, Kyle's banished and revealed as a Faithful-- the eighth consecutive elimination without identifying a single Traitor.
5. Which player was removed from the game in episode 5, being neither murdered nor banished?

Answer: Amanda

On Day 6, after Ryan's murder (and Kyle's demise), the contestants are informed over breakfast that Amanda has been forced to leave the game due to unforeseen circumstances. To add insult to injury, they're also told that she was eliminated as a Faithful, marking just one more on the mounting casualty list.

It was revealed after the completion of the show that Amanda was removed due to a positive COVID diagnosis.
6. On Day 6, three players were put on trial by the Traitors. Who was NOT amongst them?

Answer: Stephenie

Leading into Day 6, the Traitors were told that, for the first time, they would not be murdering a Faithful in the night. Instead, they had to choose three people from the remaining players to put 'on trial', marking them for potential murder on Day 7 and leaving all other players safe (save for possible banishment at that night's Round Table).

The Traitors elected to nominate Rachel, Kate, and Anjelica, all of whom were informed of the summons at breakfast. They would, however, have a possible chance at safety via the Armory Pass.
7. Who was the first Traitor to be successfully banished from the game?

Answer: Cody

On the end of Day 6 the Traitors had their first casualty when the greater group finally caught onto Cody's suspicious actions. So far gone was the possibility of salvaging his reputation that even his fellow Traitors, Cirie and Christian, needed to vote for him to avoid suspicion being cast on them as well. Tearfully, after receiving the majority of votes at the Round Table, he departed from the game and left ten competitors-- half of what the playing field started with.
8. On Night 7, the Traitors were asked to attempt to recruit a Faithful to their side. Did they succeed?

Answer: Yes

Instead of enacting another murder on Night 7, Cirie and Christian were instructed to send an offer to a Faithful to recruit them to their side, after which the Faithful could choose to accept or refuse the invitation at their discretion. They elected to send the invite to Arie, deeming him inconsequential to their long game, and to their surprise, he accepted the offer, joining them in the Traitor Turret. To Cirie and Arie's surprise the next morning, Christian used the opportunity, as no one was murdered, to claim he received an undisclosed invite, refusing it.

This, however, would turn out to arouse suspicion that would lead to his banishment on Day 9.
9. How many Life Shields were collected during the game?

Answer: Three

Starting on Day 6, the contestants were informed that missions would also allow players to compete for a chance at visiting the castle's armory, a room where they would have a one-in-three or one-in-four shot at a Life Shield, protecting its possessor from being murdered in the night.

Interestingly, all three this season were won by Arie, who was not targeted on Days 6 and 7 and, following that, became a Traitor.
10. The money was won by which of these?

Answer: The Traitors

After Christian is banished and revealed to be a Traitor at the end of Day 9, the game kicks into overdrive with a final mission bringing the prize pot up to $250,000 USD. Following this, the group finally banished Kate before facing the Fire of Truth, only ending the game, unanimously, when they believed there were no Traitors remaining in the game. At the ceremony, Cirie elected to banish one more time and it force Arie's hand; he admitted to being a Traitor and left the game without a vote occurring.

It left Cirie, Andie, and Quentin at the fire and, when all three elected to end the game, it was revealed that the sole winner was Cirie. For properly deceiving the others, she took the entire $250,000 prize.
