Answer: Dark Sun Gwyndolin

If the player kills Gwyneviere, enters Gwyndolin's boss room, or kills Gwyndolin, he will begin addressing them with this line.

Answer: Petrus of Throllund

Since every gamer worth their salt will eventually kill Petrus in their playthrough, they will hear this line from him a lot. This line indicates that he has been agitated by the player attacking him, and will begin to fight back. Of course, because Petrus is so weak and pathetic, it's possible the player will straight up kill him before he can even finish this line at all.

Answer: Blacksmith Andre

Andre says this when the player makes any purchase at his shop, then "properly" exits out of the menu before walking away from him.

Answer: Crestfallen Warrior

If the player fights Crestfallen Warrior but is defeated by him, this will be what he says as the "You Died" screen comes up and the game eventually fades to black.

Answer: Darkstalker Kaathe

After retrieving the Lordvessel and placing it in front of Kaathe's view, he will say this to the player as a means of guiding them towards their next major objective.

Answer: Shiva of the East

When speaking to Shiva for the first time after joining the Forest Hunters covenant, this is one of the things he says to the player. This is somewhat of a very simplified explanation of how the covenant works. If the player joins the covenant and wears the ring, they can eventually invade other players who enter the area in tandem with NPC hunters.

Answer: Siegmeyer of Catarina

Once the player progresses Siegmeyer's questline until he goes to Blighttown, they can find him here, stranded in the middle of the poison swamp. He will ask the player for some poison moss, and if they oblige, this line is one of the things he will say to them.

Answer: Solaire of Astora

When encountered at the Sunlight Altar, this is one of the many things Solaire will say. His journey to "find his own sun" has not gone well thus far, so Solaire spends a bit of time lamenting that, somewhat in jest.

Answer: Trusty Patches

When initially meeting Patches, he will ask the player if they are a cleric or not. If the player says yes (or if they say no) he will eventually kick them off a small ledge when he tricks them into thinking there is treasure at the bottom of a pit. If the player survives this and later meets him again, if they told him that they are a cleric, he will say this line to them and attack them.

Answer: Kingseeker Frampt

When initially meeting Frampt and acquiring the Lordvessel, he will tell the player this. It is in direct contrast to Darkstalker Kaathe, giving the tandem somewhat of a binary conflict.

Answer: Lord's Blade Ciaran

If the player attacks and eventually kills Ciaran, she will say this just before dying. Though never directly confirmed with content found in the game via normal means, it is almost 100% guaranteed that Ciaran was either romantically interested or straight up involved with Knight Artorias at some point.

This is essentially confirmed via cut dialogue datamined from the game. As well, Ciaran's dialogue and actions largely imply this anyway. If the player travels to the future and visits Artorias' grave, they will find a female corpse with the Hornet Ring looted off of it.

Incidentally, Ciaran has this ring equipped and is found mourning Artorias' death after the player defeats him in Oolacile.

Answer: Hawkeye Gough

If the player enters the Royal Woods and then meets Black Dragon Kalameet, they can return to Gough and tell him of this. Gough will ask the player if they want to take Kalameet down. If the player answers yes, he will say this line before shooting Kalameet down, forcing him to the ground, and allowing the player to properly confront Kalameet. For melee players, this is the only way to defeat Kalameet.

Answer: Big Hat Logan

This is the last line Logan will say to the player at the tail end of his questline. This is triggered by progressing his quest until he becomes a merchant at the Duke's Archives, then buying all of his spells. Once done, reloading the area causes him to show up in the original boss room for Seath the Scaleless, where he will attack the player.

Answer: Crossbreed Priscilla

This line is spoken when Priscilla is defeated by the player during her boss fight. Speedrunners in particular are sure to be quite agonizingly familiar with this line. This is because, when the remastered version released, before it received its first patch, there was a well known bug that randomly activated during this boss fight- when defeating Priscilla in a way where the finishing blow is landed while she is invisible, there would be a small chance she would get caught in a bugged loop where she constantly says this line over and over again, unendingly. If triggered, the player could do nothing but listen to this line forever, forcing them to delete that character entirely and, of course, bringing a bitter end to a speedrun attempt.

Answer: Vamos

Vamos says this if the player attacks him enough to cause him to become hostile.
