This isn't even an exaggeration, as anything beyond the player's line of sight will be so far away that the game won't even load them on screen. As such, this bow can make traveling through areas significantly more safe and easy.

2. I want to go through New Londo Ruins and need to be able to hit ghosts. Transient Curses are expensive, so I want a weapon that can always damage ghosts. What weapon of the following will get the job done?

Answer: Greatsword of Artorias (Cursed)

The difference between the two versions is easily distinguishable by the color of the blade. The black blade is cursed, the lighter blade is not.

3. The Dragonking Greataxe has the highest stat requirement of any weapon that requires the player to sever something's tail in order to acquire. Whose tail must be cut to receive the Dragonking Greataxe?

The Gaping Dragon's huge frame and tendency to move a lot can make cutting off its tail cumbersome. Once done, however, you are in possession of what is no doubt the best dragon weapon in the game, and should endeavor to take advantage of this.

4. Paladin Leeroy's signature weapon, the Grant, has the highest total stat requirements of any weapon in the entire game. It has a steep 50 needed in Strength, but also requires a significant investment into Faith. How much Faith does it need?

Answer: 30

Because of this, the Grant requires the user to totally base their build around it for the weapon to work. The return on the investment is easy to see, as it not only delivers high damage output and poise damage, but it innately inflicts Radiant damage, meaning any undead killed by it will remain finished off for good.

As well, when two-handed and the heavy attack button is selected, the weapon can unleash an AoE similar in performance to the Wrath of the Gods miracle, albeit chunking it for a massive amount of durability loss in the process.

It is a high maintenance weapon, but one that does make such investment worth it in the long haul.

5. Quelagg's Furyblade, on top of looking really cool, offers high performance that only gets higher with its 'hidden' scaling. Which of the following does this weapon uniquely scale off of?

Answer: Liquid Humanities

Liquid Humanities are the Humanities the player has used on their character, indicated by the number seen on the top left corner of their screen. The Quelagg's Furyblade gains a small bonus up to ten Liquid Humanities in damage output.

6. Be careful trying to acquire this burst crossbow- if you slip up, your character will unfortunately fall to their death. What crossbow in this regard is found at the Duke's Archives?

Answer: Avelynn

The Avelynn is a three round burst crossbow, possessing the highest theoretical DPS of any bow in the game. Getting to it is tricky, requiring difficult platforming which mandates the player try to land on top of a library shelf from roughly three stories of elevation. Failure to accurately time the fall down will cause the player to miss the shelf, and the added height of the fall is just enough to guarantee death. Before making the jump, it might be a good idea to equip a Ring of Sacrifice so no souls or humanities are lost if the player makes a mistake.

7. After getting to the DLC and defeating Knight Artorias, reloading the area will see Lord's Blade Ciaran mourning his death at his grave. If approached, she will ask the player if they'll exchange his soul that they received after defeating him for her weapons. What are Ciaran's weapons?

Answer: Gold Tracer and Dark Silver Tracer

These are both incredibly good Dexterity weapons that are uniquely well suited for wielding in tandem. In the left hand, the Gold Tracer unlocks a new moveset featuring the weapon being swung much faster and getting much more range than in the right hand. The Dark Silver Tracer is perhaps the more dramatic of the two as, when wielded in the right hand, it gains a thrusting attack which afflicts Toxic build up. It gains no such benefit in the left hand, which basically shoehorns the player into using these two weapons in the left and right hand, whether trying to use them together or not.

Interestingly, if the player accepts the trade and then opts to kill Ciaran, she will drop a second pairing of these weapons. Of course, they could also refuse the trade and kill her to get her weapons anyway. This is easier said than done, however. After all, Ciaran is one of Gwyn's four knights and has incredibly lethal weaponry while being highly agile.

If the player refuses Ciaran's trade offer and then reloads the area, she will be permanently gone for the rest of the game, necessitating New Game Plus or a new character if the player wants another opportunity at gaining her weapons. If, however, the player attacks her but is then defeated or otherwise flees, she will remain in place unless the player absolves their sins, which would cause her to leave.

8. Marvelous Chester is an important face in the DLC. He wields a unique crossbow, what one?

Answer: This is never revealed

It is not possible for the player to acquire the crossbow Chester wields. This is likely due to the fact that Chester was brought to Oolacile from the future, an era where his weapons may be too advanced for the era in the past to wield.

9. If the player fights and defeats the enlarged version of Dragonslayer Ornstein, he will drop them the Leo Ring, a ring improving the counter damage inflicting by thrusting attacks. Which weapon of the following is capable of dealing Thrust damage?

Answer: Spear

The three incorrect options all deal Strike damage. However, even the lowly Spear deals Thrust, meaning it can take advantage of the benefits of the Leo Ring. Pretty much any Spear across the entire franchise, as well as this game, can do so as well.

10. There are two melee weapons which deal absolutely zero Physical damage, the Moonlight Butterfly Horn and Moonlight Greatsword. What element damage do these weapons deal?

Answer: Magic

Dealing zero Physical and entirely Magic means these two can uniquely overwhelm otherwise solid greatshields that could typically handle melee weapons without issue. The sword can do this at a distance with its unique moon-beams, while the horn can generally outrange greatshield users and force them to drop their shields to engage the user more directly.

11. There are many Strength weapons in this game. What weapon requires the most Strength in the entire game to wield?

Answer: Smough's Greathammer

At a massive 58, the Smough's Greathammer has the highest base Physical damage in the game. It can be two-handed with a Strength score of 39.

12. The Channeler's Trident is an odd weapon with an even stranger unique skill. When two handing it and using a heavy attack, what does the weapon do?

Answer: Buff the user and nearby allies

In addition to this, the user's character will engage in a ridiculous dance in place for several seconds. Funny as it may seem, the user is vulnerable during this period, so they must be careful on when and where to use it.

13. The Demon's Great Hammer can potentially be the very first weapon the player loots. How is this done?

Answer: Defeating the Asylum Demon when first encountered

The first time the player encounters the Asylum Demon, they will have no actual weapon to fight it with, forced to use the Straight Sword hilt. This "weapon" deals no more than 2 damage every single swing, and the demon has slightly over 800 HP. As well, the player has no Estus Flasks on hand, meaning they will lose if the Demon hits them four times, while having to hit the Demon more than 400 times to win. If they succeed, the Demon will drop the Demon's Great Hammer.

The player can trade a Sack to Snuggly the Crow for this weapon. However, it would then not be the first weapon they'd be looting, as this interaction happens outside of the Undead Asylum after the player obtains their starting weapon.

14. Within the treacherous Sen's Fortress is a treasure chest, that incidentally is actually a Mimic. When defeated, it will drop what weapon to the player?

Answer: Lightning Spear

This is just a simple Spear given the Lightning infusion. The boss of Sen's Fortress, Iron Golem, happens to be weak to Lightning. As such, this Spear can be useful in a fairly straightforward way.

15. The Great Lord Greatsword belongs to Gwyn, Lord of Cinder and final boss of the entire game. It can be extracted from his boss soul. When wielded by Gwyn, it deals split Physical/Fire. When wielded by the player, what damage does it do other than Physical?

Answer: Nothing

For a bizarre reason, the weapon the player gets only looks like, and does not function anywhere close to the same weapon Gwyn wields. Not having the same moveset makes enough sense, but this sword doesn't even deal the same Fire it does in Gwyn's hands.

As such, it's performance is quite literally a carbon copy of a basic Greatsword, with the only difference being upgrade materials needed.
