1.08 "And the Sky Full of Stars" Quiz

Early in the episode we see Benson getting beat up by a couple of gamblers that he owes money. Then he has a meeting with Sinclair and Garibaldi, who relieve him of duty until the matter is resolved. Babylon 5 employees have a gambling limit so that they don't get into debt as a prevention against blackmailing. Benson agrees to help Knight Two with his plan in exchange for a large sum of cash to pay off his debts. Benson gets cold feet half way through the opperation and is killed by Knight One and tossed out an airlock.

Franklin is examining Delenn so that he can better treat the Minbari patients in the future, since he usually only gets the sick and never the healthy. We find out in this scene that Franklin refused to turn over his notes on the Minbari to the bio-weapons division: "I took an oath that all life is sacred. I destroyed my notes rather than have them used for killing." Franklin in return asks what Delenn did during the war...she evades this question by saying: "A topic for another time. Good day, doctor."

Answer: Mitchell

We see Sinclair having a nightmare about the Battle of the Line, and then we meet Mitchell when Sinclair is inside the cerebral matrix. Mitchell broke away from formation right before the battle began when he spotted some Minbari scout ships. Sinclair warned him to stay in formation, but it was too late...the jump points opened and the Minbari warships appeared. Sinclair feels guilty since he was the only one in his squad that survived the battle.

Sinclair has woken up from his nightmare and makes his way around the empty station to C&C. He asks the computer if there is anyone else on the station. The computer tells him that there is one other person, who turns out to be Knight Two. They meet in the Central Corridor where Knight Two begins his interrogation and torture of Sinclair.

Delenn was supposed to meet Sinclair that morning, but he never showed up. She goes to Garibaldi, who is in his quarters, and tells him that Sinclair did not show up. Garibaldi tries to link in to Sinclair, but he doesn't reply, so Garibaldi sets up a search and rescue to find Sinclair.

Knight Two reads off Sinclair's dossier: "Your name is Jeffrey David Sinclair. Rank: commander. Age: 39. Born on Mars Colony, May 3, 2218, 9:15 A.M., Earth Standard Time. Enlisted in Earth Force Defense, 2237; promoted to fighter pilot, 2240; promoted again to squad leader less than a year later...Smart money said you'd make admiral one day. So what happened, commander? Why'd you fall off the merry-go-round?"

Sinclair shoots at the female security officer, who is then shot in the back by Knight One. Sinclair and Knight One exchange shots each missing the other. Garibaldi shows up, and is promptly shot at by the delusional Sinclair. Delenn, also concerned, turns up and approaches Sinclair, even though she has been warned of Sinclair's current state. Sinclair points his gun at her (but never fires at her)...and shoots at Knight One.

Answer: Ivanova

Ivanova says this during the meeting between Garibaldi, Franklin and Ivanova about the best way to find Sinclair. Garibaldi suggests that they send out maintenance bots to search the outer hull..."If someone shoved [Sinclair's body] outside, the station's gravity won't let it get far. Just in case." Ivanova replies with the above line.

Answer: "Is Psi Corps Experimenting on Their Own Telepaths?"

She gets a visit from another Satai, who tells her that if Sinclair ever remembers what happened to him on the Minbari ship, he is to be killed. He says that this is the only way that they can protect the truth.
